Shabby Chic

Hi Crafters,

This is my second post for today, must be on a roll :)

I have made another card using these beautiful shabby/vintage papers from Michele R Designs. The theme on the papers is sewing so I went with that for the embellishments.

 Recipe

Sentiment -  LOTV ~Quotables Set 61

Recycled Lace

Crochet Flower

Paper Doily

Buttons

Twine

Pearl Trim

I distressed and inked the edges of the papers once I had printed them out to complete the shabby feel. Then I layered them up with the doily and lace trims to complete the look. I was given the beautiful crochet flower, I wish I could make these - I've tried and they turn out wonky :/ it's the only one I have but I had to use it here as it seemed perfect for the card.

This is my first House Mouse card and aren't they just the most adorable little mice ever?! I've always loved these little creatures and admired the cards made by others but I finally own a House Mouse stamp myself and I'm very pleased with it. Look at their cute little tummies, I hope they've remembered to put on their sun block.
