Allsorts Challenge #791/2 - Seasons Delights

 Hi Crafters,

**This post has been scheduled as I will be taking a blog break for a while but I hope to be back here as soon as I can.**

There's a new 2 week challenge starting at Allsorts today where the theme is

SEASONS DELIGHTS

I created my card using an image from one of the Hunkydory Hobbies & Pastimes paper pad, I think this image suits the theme for this time of year when we are thinking about holidays. Background paper is from Craft Consortium and my pretty corner dies are Joy Crafts 6002-0356.

We have three dies from Tonic Studios up for grabs.

Why not take a peek at the rest of the Design Teams creations on the challenge blog here to get some ideas for your makes and then come and join in with us.

I will be taking a blog break for a little while but in the meantime I wish you all a fabulous summer, good health and happiness.

Allsorts Challenge #790 - Flowers

 Hi Crafters,

**My upcoming posts for today and next Saturday are scheduled as I will be taking a blog break for a while but I hope to be back here as soon as I can.**

There's a new challenge starting at Allsorts today where the theme is

FLOWERS

My card was created using a lovely distressed patterned paper from Anna Marie Designs along with some printed sentiment panels that came with her collection. I layered the papers with strips of cotton lace that had been in my stash for years and decorated around the sentiment panel with die cut flowers using a Heartfelt Creations Floral Die called Majestic Blooms.

Prizes this month are from Highlight Crafts,  AALL and Create and Stampendous

If you'd like to join in with us you have a week to create your entries using our theme or the Anything Goes option for a chance to enter the draw.
Have fun!

Passion For Markers Challenge #748 - Pretty Pastels

 Hi Crafters,

We have a new challenge starting at Passion For Markers today where Lisa has chosen the theme of

PRETTY PASTELS

I have made a clean and simple card using an older image from Beccy's Place called 'Flannel Flowers'.

I find it quite difficult to stick to pastel colours because I love to use bold, bright and sometimes quite dark colours but that's what a 'challenge' is all about so we would love to see what you create using your Markers and lovely Pastel Colours this week.
I have coloured my image with Copics and used a new-to-me embossing folder from Sizzix called Celebrate. This has a very deep emboss pattern which I love. I also added some bakers twine and an LOTV label stamp for the sentiment.

Our sponsor this week is

who are offering a £6 voucher to the lucky winner.

Come and join us over on the challenge blog here, you will see lots of inspiration from the other Design Team members to get you started. Good luck in the draw!

That's all from me today,

Lorraine

Allsorts Challenge #789 - Use Circles

 Hi Crafters,

I'm back again with more inspiration for another challenge at Allsorts.

I'm hosting this week and I'd like to see your creations using

CIRCLES

This is one of my favourite dies by Spellbinders called 'Intertwined Spirals'. I have used this with nesting circle dies by Crealies and a Tattered Lace Shoe die called 'Hot off the Catwalk'.

I hope you can join in with us this week for a chance to win one of these fabulous prizes.

See you there,

Lorraine

Allsorts Challenge #788 - Romantic Occasions

 Hi Crafters,

Our theme this week at Allsorts is

ROMANTIC OCCASIONS

This could encompass Engagement, Wedding, Anniversary or Just Because I Love You cards and projects so plenty of scope plus there's always the Anything Goes option.

I have used my Carnation Crafts Collection of dies once more, this is the Daisy one called 'Sunny' in the lilac colour version. I can never remember how each company describes their matching images, some call them Vignettes, some are Reflections and then there is Charisma - suffice to say that these images match the dies exactly and produce some really lovely detailed  artwork. I have also used some musical background paper and added a Britannia Sentiment die cut and gems. The corner accents are from an EK Success punch.

Prizes from Highlight Crafts,  AALL and Create and Stampendous

We would love you to join in with us and you can see all the other creations from the design team on the challenge blog HERE to help inspire you.

Have a great Saturday!

Passion For Markers Challenge #746 - Use a Die

 Hi Crafters,

I hope you are well and thank you for visiting today, I will endeavour to get to your blogs as soon as I can but I haven't been feeling 100% recently and so things have slipped a bit.

Anyway I am here this morning with a card for the new challenge at Passion For Markers.

We are sponsored by Dies To Die For and our theme is

USE A DIE

I have used this fabulous image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps called 'Montgomery Mole' and coloured him with Copics. I used several Stitched dies (Crealies XXL Double Stitched Ovals & Creative Expressions Stitched Squares) to cut out the part oval and square frames. The pretty little Daisy is a new die to me from Highlight Crafts called 'Daisy Daydream' which comes with it's matching printed reflections image. Both the grass die and the sentiment die are unbranded ones but I picked out the colour in the centre of the daisy to use as a shadow for the sentiment to make it stand out.

Our sponsor is Dies To Die For

who are offering a fabulous £15 voucher to the lucky winner so come and join in the fun with us here for a chance to win. Just follow the theme, link up your new project to the challenge blog and use your Markers of course.

See you soon and have fun!

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #125 - Anything Goes

 Hi Crafters,

It's July 1st and that date means a new challenge is starting at Crafts Galore Encore. You have a whole month to create up to three different projects with an Anything Goes theme, so nice and easy.

Here is my card....

This is my first Christmas make of 2024! I am so behind, I usually start making my Christmas cards in January but this year seems to have been very challenging for me. I will have to get cracking on the rest of my festive cards soon otherwise I will never be ready for the Big Day.
I have layered two papers from a collection of Christmas 12 x 12 papers, not sure what make they are as they were purchased in a mixed bundle a long time ago. I cut an aperture in the top paper being careful to cut around the sweet swirls to create a 'window' for my Gingerbread Couple. This sweet digital image is called Decorations - Gingerbread Holly and I have coloured it with Copics. I added some glittery enamel dots to the centre of each sweet swirl and added the sentiment which is a Creative Expressions Die.

Our sponsor this month is Polkadoodles who are offering the lucky winner a prize of 3 digital stamps.

The Design Team have been busy creating their inspirational projects for you, check out their makes here.

I hope you will come and join in the fun this month.

See you soon,

Lorraine
