Things With Wings at Passion For Markers

 Hi Crafters,

My apologies, it's been a while since I was here and also to visit your blogs but hubby has been in hospital again so things have been a little strange here, thankfully he is home now and feeling a little better. I'd like to thank you for all the lovely comments recently and I will come and visit you soon.

My appearance today is to showcase my DT card for our current challenge at Passion For Markers.

#679 - THINGS WITH WINGS

I have used this lovely, but sadly discontinued image, from Sugar Nellie. Their images are so lovely it is a shame not to use them just because they are no longer available. I'm sure many of you have lots of their stamps in your crafty stash.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #4 - Snow People

 Hi Crafters,

I'm popping in today to share my cards for the new challenge at the Christmas Card Club.

I think these little snowmen are so cute, they were a magazine freebie stamp set (Making Cards Magazine I believe) which I coloured with Promarkers. I made a few of these last Christmas and loved how cute they were so made some more for this challenge.
Take a peek at the other ladies Christmas creations by following the links in my sidebar.

Have a lovely Sunday!

With Love....

 Hi Crafters,

Happy Valentine's Day!

My card for today's new challenge at Passion For Markers was created using this lovely image from our sponsor Colour of Love, called Flower Petals.

Our theme this week is

ADD SOME FLOWERS

Coloured with Promarkers and Copics I felt this image needed an oriental touch so added the lettering and then some flowers cut from paper that had been 'smooshed' with Distress Ink using a layering die.

Challenges I'd like to enter:

Crafty Catz - #624 ATG/Add a Little Love
Pearly Sparkles - #81 ATG

Please take a look at the rest of the Design Team's creations here, they have been very busy making some lovely samples to inspire you. Our prize for this week is 3 digital images from Colour of Love
they have some gorgeous images on their website so you'll have a great time choosing your prize. Just use any of your Markers and follow the theme to be eligible.
Have fun!

I managed to create two cards this week. Yay!

Created from a Hunkydory kit with Joy Craft die cut snowflakes and Creative Expressions Sentiment die, plus using up some of those old peel-offs that have been in my stash for quite a while.
The second card is a CraftsUprint download which makes a lovely fold back fronted card.

I love... at Allsorts Challenge #714

 Hi Crafters,

Yay! The weekend is here, not that I'm doing anything special but it has seemed a long week and I'm glad it's Saturday.

It's a new challenge at Allsorts too and we'd like to see your ANYTHING GOES projects with an option of I LOVE...as a theme.

The Design Team have been busy again making some great projects to inspire you all. Take a look at them here.

As the DT have used the optional theme in their projects my I LOVE... is the colour Red and Die Cutting. I really love using red in most things and die cutting has become a main feature on my cards over the years.

Crafts Galore Encore February Challenge

 Hi Crafters,

I'm back again but today I have my Crafts Galore Encore design team inspiration for you.

This challenge is always an ANYTHING GOES theme, so nice and easy to join in.

We are sponsored by Sheepski Designs who are offering 3 digital stamps to the lucky winner from their online store. I have used one of their lovely images for my card today.

I decided to make a split front card. I have taken away a section of the card front and replaced it with some acetate which I had embossed with a Sheena Douglas leaf design embossing folder - hopefully you can see it in the close-up below?

I have coloured this gorgeous 'Blossom' image with Pencils for a change from my Promarkers. I still have a way to go with the technique but I enjoyed using this different medium.

Here is an angled view where you can see both the inside and outside of the whole card.

If you'd like to join in with us you have a whole month to enter a maximum of 3 separate new projects, it doesn't have to be a card. Link back to our challenge blog in your post to make sure you are eligible for the prize from

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Incy Wincy Designs - Valentines +/ In The Garden
Creative Inspirations - February - ATG

See you again soon,
