Allsorts Challenge #708/9 - CAS

 Hi Crafters,

It's Christmas Eve!

Are you excited to see what Santa will bring you? I hope you have been good?

I wish you all a fabulous Christmas season and hopefully you will have time to do some crafting and enter our latest challenge at Allsorts which lasts for two weeks this time to see us through into the New Year.

We have a CAS theme and I have yet another Christmas card for you.

Allsorts Challenge #706 - Anything Goes/Let It Snow

 Hi Crafters,

The weekend has arrived and so too has a new challenge at Allsorts.

Lolo is our hostess and she has chosen

Anything Goes/Let It Snow

I think this is a Sheena Douglas embossing folder but the packaging has long since gone so I can't be sure. It makes a lovely, deep emboss and is 8 inches square too. The large snowflake die and sentiment are from Paper Boutique and the smaller snowflake in the centre is a Wild Rose Studio die. I've added some smaller Xcut snowflakes around the edges too.

Passion For Markers Mega Christmas Challenge #670 - Use Die Cuts

It's getting busier here by the minute but I'm breaking off to post on behalf of Passion For Markers as it's their

MEGA CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE!

Image is from Bugaboo (sadly no longer trading) called Penguin Joy, coloured with Promarkers. The embossing folder is a Sue Wilson one from Creative Expressions, Xcut Snowflake Dies and a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Die.

Allsorts Challenge #705 - It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

Well we are in to December already and as the title suggests...

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

...so that is our theme this week at Allsorts and I have created an easel, shaker card.

These are my favourite style of card to make, I love a kinetic card and the added bonus of a different fold also appeals.

The design is a download from CraftsUprint but I have cut out the centre part of the frame and created a shaker. There were lots of tiny elements to this design which took a lot of fussy cutting but I think the end result was worth it.

We have 2 prizes this week of Card-io stamp sets for 2 lucky winners.

I am at a craft fair today and have two more Christmas fairs in a couple of weeks time, then I can relax and start my Christmas preparations at home. Christmas card sales have been very good which is a surprise as I thought the increase in postage coupled with the strikes this year would put folks off. Needless to say I haven't finished my own Christmas cards yet to send out so there'll be no slacking in my craft room just yet.

Ho, Ho, Ho at Crafts Galore Encore

Well December has arrived, far too quickly for my liking, but here we are none-the-less. I can always remember some of my older relatives saying how time goes quicker as you advance in years but at 57 I was hoping it wouldn't have started just yet!
