Allsorts Challenge #706 - Anything Goes/Let It Snow

 Hi Crafters,

The weekend has arrived and so too has a new challenge at Allsorts.

Lolo is our hostess and she has chosen

Anything Goes/Let It Snow

I think this is a Sheena Douglas embossing folder but the packaging has long since gone so I can't be sure. It makes a lovely, deep emboss and is 8 inches square too. The large snowflake die and sentiment are from Paper Boutique and the smaller snowflake in the centre is a Wild Rose Studio die. I've added some smaller Xcut snowflakes around the edges too.

Challenges I'd like to enter:

to be added

We are sponsored this week by Oakwood Archer with two super prizes

The design team have been busy creating some fabulous inspiration for you, take a look HERE.

See you again soon,

Christmas Card Club challenge #12 - Let It Snow

 Hi Crafters,

It has been a fortnight since our last challenge and so today brings the twelfth challenge for our friendly Christmas Card Club and the theme this time is....

LET IT SNOW

Trying to get ahead with some family Christmas cards I made this for my brother who loves old tractors. I managed to find this picture on Google which went really well with the colours in the Crafters Companion papers and the Let It Snow theme.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #15 - Let It Snow

Hi Crafters,

It's been a busy week here in Rainey's Craft Room, lots of orders coming in, cards going out, DT work and a couple of GDT spots that I was kindly asked to do in August so I am trying to get ahead for those. The housework has taken a back seat I'm afraid so I will have to knuckle down tomorrow and catch up with that too.
On to today...
It's our fortnightly Christmas Card Club and Christine has chosen the theme of 'Let It Snow'. Now I have long admired the lovely little Penny Black stamp 'Snowy' but I haven't been able to get my hands on him anywhere - until now...

Recipe
Stamp - Penny Black - Snowy
Medium - Pro/flexmarkers
Papers - LOTV Winter Wishes
Glitter Cardstock
Marianne Designs Snowflake Trio Die
Spellbinders Classic Oval and Lacy Oval Die
LOTV Christmas Wishes Sentiment Wavy Stamp
Brad from Stash

...a side view to show the dimension.
I stamped 'Snowy' with brown Memento ink and he looks so different in brown than black, don't you think? I matched my colours to the papers as best as I could and followed a sketch that I found on Pinterest.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Eureka Stamps - #150 Christmas in July
Cardz 4 Guyz - #80 Christmas in July
Papertake Weekly - Build It Up
Deep Ocean Challenge - #108 Christmas in July
Penny Black & More - ATG with a Sentiment
Noor Designs - #8 Something Old, Something New
(Old - LOTV Paper Pad, New - 'Snowy' Stamp)
CHNC Extra - July - Christmas
Rudolph Days Challenge - Christmas ATG

We are more than half way through the year now so I am glad that my Christmas card stash is building up nicely. The rest of the team have some great inspiration for you on their blogs today so go and give them a look and get in to the Christmas groove and start making yours too. The links are in the tab at the top of my blog.

Well that's all from me, I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

See you again soon,

Lorraine
