Passion For Promarkers Mega Christmas Challenge - Hip To Be Square

Hi Crafters,

Well it's time to introduce our Mega Christmas Challenge here at Passion For Promarkers.
Both Design Teams will be inspiring you with their Christmas makes in a SQUARE format over the next few weeks.
This week it is the turn of Team 2 to share their creations and here's mine...

Using my all time favourite Penny Black stamp called Snowy I have coloured him with my trusty Promarkers in shades of brown for his hat and scarf and grey's for his snowy bits :o)
A dash of glitter on his hat completes the image and then some subtle embossing for the background together with various sizes of snowflake die cuts from a Cheery Lynn die. The sentiment is a wooden embellishment which just happened to be the same colour as my glitter card, how lucky was that?

Passion For Promarker Challenge #457 - Glitter / Sparkle

Hi Crafters,

It's Tuesday and time to share my DT make for the current challenge at Passion For Promarkers.

Our theme this week is Glitter / Sparkle and so I thought this was a great opportunity to make another Christmas card. I coloured this cute image from Lili of the Valley called 'A snowy Hug' and used some fabulous foiled kraft papers that I had in my stash.

Passion For Promarkers Anniversary Challenge #394 - Bingo

Well it is our Birthday Anniversary Challenge at Passion For Promarkers this week and both design teams are joining in with the 'Bingo' theme.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #4 - Snowy Mountains and Skies

Hi Crafters,

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not visiting you all lately. 

Orders have been coming in thick and fast and whilst this is a good thing it prevents me from spending time blogging and commenting so I'm sorry if you haven't heard from me for a while. I appreciate all who have commented here of late and I will try to pop by soon.

This is a very minimal and CAS card design for me. I cut the die and inked through it with Versamark embossing ink then sprinkled with gold glitter embossing powder and heat set.

It looks very sparkly in real life.

I've only managed one card this challenge but a lot of the team have been making multiple cards this year to get ahead with the Christmas rush, do take a look at their marvelous designs - a list of their blogs is in the tab at the top of my page.

Hi Crafters,

Christmas Card Club Challenge #15 - Let It Snow

It's been a busy week here in Rainey's Craft Room, lots of orders coming in, cards going out, DT work and a couple of GDT spots that I was kindly asked to do in August so I am trying to get ahead for those. The housework has taken a back seat I'm afraid so I will have to knuckle down tomorrow and catch up with that too.

 It's our fortnightly Christmas Card Club and Christine has chosen the theme of 'Let It Snow'. Now I have long admired the lovely little Penny Black stamp 'Snowy' but I haven't been able to get my hands on him anywhere - until now...

I stamped 'Snowy' with brown Memento ink and he looks so different in brown than black, don't you think? I matched my colours to the papers as best as I could and followed a sketch that I found on Pinterest.
