Art Impressions

Hi, today I have a card to share with you using an Art Impressions stamp which I haven't used until now, it was just perfect for this card and the recipient will appreciate the humour in it. It's a long story but suffice to say this particular lady and the swimming pool have a history :)

I used my Promarkers again and some lovely papers from My Minds Eye Blush paper pad. The bubbles are a Memory Box die and the sentiments are created on my computer. I had some issues with the vivid pink Promarker seeping over the outline so I decided to cut the image out and glue it to the mount instead, it worked out ok I think.
I'd like to enter this in to the challenge at:
Scribble & Scrap - #6 Anything Goes

Well it's getting late now, hope you've all had a great day,
See you soon,
Lorraine

What a fab card, love these colours they work so well together and really pop! You colouring in wonderful on this. I find the stronger coloyrs, particularly red, have a tendency to bleed. You can help avoid it with the card you use, or some people stamp and then emboss, but I've also had occasion to cut out my image because of bleeding so you're not alone! :) xx

That should read 'your colouring is wonderful' and 'stronger colours' lol, that'll teach me to have a conversation and type at the same time :P xx

Great card! that pink really pops! so fun! You had left a sweet comment on my blog, asking me about copic colours. The 'family' that I used on the trousers, as well as the hair, are E40's. The E40's are a great grouping to have- probably my most used from the earth tones. I also use for grounding. I think I used E44,43,42,40 on the pants. the hair, I add E49 and 47 for dark shades and work down from there....hope that helps and answers your question!

This is fantastic! Those bubble die cuts add so much fun to this card and it looks great in the neon colors. Great job! :-)
