Well the weather here in Norfolk has been a little better of late, some sunshine and a bit of warmth, just what I needed. The trees are beginning to leaf up again and we have some colour in the garden once again from the pretty Spring flowers. This brings me nicely on to the theme for this week at Allsorts...

Allsorts Challenge #762 - Mood Board/ATG

 Hi Crafters,

We have something a little different for you this week at Allsorts, we'd like you to create your project using elements from a Mood Board but there is also the Anything Goes option too.

I have used my Tattered Lace Collections to make this dimensional card.

Here is the Mood Board, there are lots of choices to create with here.

I chose PINK, BICYCLE and FLOWERS from this selection, please take a look at the rest of the Design Teams creations here, they are all very different but still using this interesting Mood Board for inspiration.

Happy Birthday Mum!

 Hi Crafters,

This card was made for my Mum's Birthday.

She is 91 years young today!

...and as you can see her favourite colour is blue so I thought that this blue Hydrangea Charisma and die set from Tattered Lace would be prefect for her card. I also used some other dies in the Tattered Lace Collection - Lovers of Lace Heart Frame, Hemstitch Square, Leaving a Trail and Oh So Floral dies.

I'm so lucky to still have my mum with us and in fine fettle too, I will be going to see her later today, we always have a lovely chat and put the world to rights along the way.

Picture Postcards Collection

Hi Crafters,

I've been playing with my Tattered Lace Dies and matching Picture Postcards Charisma images again.

Here are two cards in different colour tones for my box.

Lots of layers in these images and quite fiddly to stick the foam pads to but worth it for the end result I think.

Vintage Madame Rose

Hi Crafters,

I have a vintage themed card for you today using the Tattered Lace Madame Rose die and matching Picture Postcard USB.

After printing and die cutting all the elements I've added some peach lace and green organza ribbon to match the colours in the collection and inked all the edges of the papers.

A friend of mine really likes Gypsy caravans and so I created this card for her birthday...

Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Sparkle Embossing Powder

 

I have been itching to use these papers since I bought them from the NEC and I thought this card was perfect for the colours and patterns on the papers. Gypsy caravans are always painted and decorated very colourfully and these papers reminded me of that. They have encapsulated glitter on them in parts and I echoed this by using the Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder around the edges of the lacy borders. My friend was really pleased with her card and therefore so was I.
