Just For You ~ Nephew

Hi Crafters,
A warm welcome to all my new and existing followers and a thank you for your lovely comments here on my blog.
I haven't posted for a week it seems and I just don't know where that week went, I've been in my craft room but, alas my crafty mojo has spread it's wings and flown South for the winter I think.  I have lots of cards to make and my order book is quite full but I just can't seem to get in to it right now so I rummaged through my draws and decided to take an easy option of using a decoupage kit and matching papers from Docrafts.

Card Recipe
Docrafts Wellington 6 x 6 paper pack
Docrafts Wellington Decoupage sheet
Docrafts Papermania Capsule Collection Polka Dot Mini Buttons
Doesn't he look so squeezy and cuddly. I like the muted tones on this card for my Nephew and I placed three Docrafts mini buttons in the corner for interest.
I have a few more male cards to make for February, I think I might use this set again, unless of course, Mr Mojo returns soon.
I'm entering this card in two challenges:
Scribble And Scrap - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes

Hope you are all well, these wet dreary days can leave you feeling down, roll on Spring, PLEASE !
Bye for now

This is lovely Lorraine, I do love the use of the turquoise as an accent. I find when my mojo is sleeping, I try a few things, I look for a sketch to follow, find a stamp or paper I really like and I look through people's blogs I admire for inspiration and jumping off points. If all else fails look to Pinterest, it has so many ideas and examples....but be warned, you may lose half your day in there lol :) xx

I second the pinterest idea. That is how I was inspired for my last card!

This card is lovely and perfect for a fellow. Love the teddy holding up the beer like he is saying "cheers".
