Passion For markers Challenge #804 - Anything BUT Square

 Hi Crafters,

We have another great challenge starting at Passion For Markers today with a theme of

ANYTHING BUT SQUARE

So we would like to see your projects using a hand coloured image in different shapes other than square.

I have used an Arch die set to create my card blank and the layers together with this fun digital image from our sponsor Dr Digi's house of Stamps.

Recipe
Image - Cosmo-Nut - Dr Digi HOS
Coloured with Copic Markers
Pre-coloured image of the Moon is also from Dr Digi's HOS too.
Space Background from stash with glitter added and a printed sentiment.

I have attached my astronaut to the card with an acetate strip so that he floats in front of the moon image and looks as if he is floating in space. It's difficult to see from this angle so here's a side view.

I hope to see lots of you joining in with us this week, the Design Team have some great projects to share and inspire you on the challenge blog, take a look HERE.

To be in with a chance to win the fabulous prize of 2 digi stamps from our sponsor you must follow the theme and use a hand-coloured image on your project.

See you soon,

Lorraine

Passion For Markers Challenge #802 - Spots and or Stripes

 Hi Crafters,

I'm back again this week for another new challenge at Passion For Markers.

This week we would like to see your coloured images and projects with the theme of

SPOTS AND OR STRIPES

I have made a shaker card ( I really do love making them) using this sweet melting snowman image from our sponsor this week - Polkadoodles

they are offering 3 digi images to the lucky winner.

I coloured him using Copic markers and was going to add some glitter but then I decided to make a shaker card so I added the teeny-tiny snowflakes inside the window instead. Both pieces of spotted and striped patterned papers were off-cuts from my scrap mountain! Does anyone else have one of these? Ha, ha.
The silver border and shaker frame were cut using my Tonic Scalloped Square and Circle dies, the glittery, foam snowflakes are from The Range and probably the ribbon too but I have had it for so long that I cannot remember where I purchased it.
I am determined to use up my craft room stash that has been hoarded, no collected :o) over the years plus this is my 2nd Christmas card made this year ( I am so far behind!).
Anyway, back to the challenge...why not pop over to the challenge blog HERE and take a look at the other Design Team makes to get you started and then come and join us for a fun challenge, who knows the winner could be you!

See you soon,

Lorraine

Passion For Markers Challenge #800 - ATG/Hand-Coloured Image

 Hi Crafters,

The weeks are flying by and we are in to August already!

We have a new challenge starting at Passion For Markers today so why not come and join in the fun.

ATG/Hand-Coloured Image

I have coloured up a favourite image of mine called 'James The Bear and Big Sign' from LOTV, our sponsor this week, using my Copic markers.

The cloudy paper is also from one of the LOTV paper pads that I have been hoarding :o)

Do you have some papers that you are loathe to use? I know I do...!

Well, back to the challenge, the Design Team have been very busy creating some lovely inspirational projects for you so check out their makes over on the challenge blog HERE. We are very much looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing what you have created this time.

Our sponsor is Lili of the Valley Stamps

who are offering 4 digi's to the lucky winner.

I hope to see you soon,

Lorraine

Birthday at Passion For Markers Challenge #798

 Hi Crafters,

Another new challenge has started at Passion For Markers today where our theme is

BIRTHDAY

A nice and easy challenge so lots of entries please.

Coloured with Promarkers and Copics this image is from our sponsor this week, Colour of Love and is called Rory's Birthday Party.
It is such a lovely image that I only added some enamel dots and a ribbon to embellish the card.

The prize this week from our sponsor is 3 digital images.

Have fun with your Markers this week and the Design Team will visit your blogs soon.
Take care,

Passion For Markers Challenge # 796 - Add A Ribbon

 Hi Crafters,

Well it's my turn to host the challenge this week at Passion For Markers and so I'd love to see all your gorgeous makes using your Markers and

ADD A RIBBON

I have used this sweet image from LOTV called 'Robin Cracker' which I have coloured using my Copics in festive red and green with a touch of glitter glass on the furry hat trims. I thought I had better make a start on my Christmas cards as it's already July, I tell myself every year that I will be good and make some each  month starting in January but then things get in the way, so this is my first Christmas make for 2025!
I have used a wonderful Decorative Rectangle die set from Chloe's Creative Cards to cut out my frames in green glitter card and added some holly paper in the background. The sentiment ribbon has been in my stash for years and has other lovely Christmas sayings on it too so I'm pleased to be using a section of it for my challenge.

We are sponsored this time by
who are offering a £15 voucher to the lucky winner!
What a fab prize so get out your Markers and colour up those images for a chance to win.

I'm looking forward to seeing your creations and commenting on your blogs this week.
Have fun!
