Passion For Markers Challenge #812 - HALLOWEEN

 Hi Crafters,

As it's almost the end of October our theme this week at Passion For Markers is...

HALLOWEEN

Our sponsor this week is
I have used this fun monster image called 'Monsterific' for my card which I have coloured with Copic Markers. The background paper is a digital file from Sizzix which I have had for ages and I used two dies from the 'Stitched Indented Squares' set by Elizabeth Craft Designs to make my window frame. A piece of die cut spiders web, also from Sizzix, completes my haunted window card.

I hope you can join in with us this week. On the challenge blog at Passion For Markers we have a fabulous prize of 2 digi images from All Dressed Up Stamps for the lucky winner.

See you soon,

Lorraine

Halloween Potions

Hi Crafters,

I had forgotten to share this month's set of ATC's that I created for the swap at Charmed Cards And Crafts, so here they are...

Recipe
Background was created using bright coloured Brushos then embossed using a 'Bark' embossing folder and finally a light inking of Black Soot Distress Ink to highlight the embossed texture and tone down the metallic shine. I then cut out all the elements from the Sizzix Laboratory & Cobweb die sets, inked them and added to the shelf die cut. The Halloween word comes from a Chocolate Baroque Stamp Set and the frothy spillage coming from some of the bottles was created using Andy Skinners Lava Paste.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Crafty Cardmakers - #244 Halloween
Crafty Gals Corner - #200 Halloween Colours

Thanks for popping in today,

Passion For Promarkers Challenge #467 - Halloween Colours

Hi Crafters,

Today marks the start of new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and this week we'd like to see your projects using...

HALLOWEEN COLOURS

Any project, a card, scrapbook page, 3D piece, tag etc but you must use your Windor Newton markers (Pro, flex, brush, aqua, tria or metallic markers) and tell us in your post where on your project you have used them.

I have coloured this fabulous Bugaboo Stamps image called 'Halloween Poem' with my Promarkers and used a Sizzix Mini Cabinet die for the tomb stone label. I inked the edges with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink but with the glare of the lights it's not showing up very well here. The cobweb is a Cottage Cutz die which I attached with a green eyelet and tied the top of the treat bag with Halloween coloured twine through the eyelet.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Unicorn Challenge - #37 Autumn / Halloween
Brown Sugar - #283 Halloween / Autumn
Sweet Stampers - #25 Autumn / Halloween
Not Just Cards - #60 ATG
Try It on Tuesday - Trick or Treat - It's Halloween

Halloween Treat Holders

Hi Crafters,
Well it's sunny here at the moment and I'm enjoying that for as long as it lasts, I think we are in for a wet weekend though. The sun has been streaming in through my craft room window and yet I have been making snowy, frosty Christmas cards and Halloween treat holders, lol.
I will share the Christmas cards later but for now, here is my little battalion of witches, Frankensteins, Pumkins and skull treat boxes.

These were all cut on my Cameo, which takes a lot of the fiddly part out of making them but when you make 14 and the witch one has 20 pieces alone to stick together, then it was quite a task. This was an order for a couple of friends of mine but I don't think I will be making any more, they just take too much time.
Challenges
Not Just Cards - #4 Anything Goes
TTCRD - Anything Goes

Take care everyone and I will be back soon with some DT posts for the 'CCC' and 613 Avenue Create over the weekend.

Spooky Creations

Hi Crafters,
As it's October 1st, my thoughts started to drift towards Halloween so I have been making some scary treat holders. These were cut on my Silhouette Cameo, layered and inked, then I added a piece of Halloween coloured twine.

The papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and were a freebie at the time I got them but there are some lovely new Halloween papers on the site now. They measure about 11 cm x 8 cm x 4 cm wide and will hold quite a few sweets.
I'm entering these in the challenge at Diva's By Design - Spooky Creations.
Bearly Mine Designs - Halloween
I also made a few Christmas items for my upcoming stall which I will share with you another time.
Bye for now,

Lorraine
