Christmas Card Club Challenge #24 - Fairies & Angels

 Hi Crafters,

I'm a day late posting for this challenge so I'll make it a short post.

It is also tinged with sadness as the theme was chosen by Shaz who passed away earlier this year.

This is what I have made using LOTV prints for both the background and image and a Phill Martin sentiment stamp which I heat embossed in silver.

Still trying to use up those peel-offs too :o)

Allsorts Challenge #651 - One For The Girls

 Hi Crafters,

A new challenge has started at Allsorts today.

Head over to the blog and enter your feminine creations for the girls both young and old.

I have used an LOTV (Lili of the Valley) Pre-coloured image die cut with a scalloped frame die. The sentiment stamp is also LOTV. The papers are digital ones that I've had for so long that I'm afraid I have no record of where they came from. A sweet little gem flower added a touch of bling - all girls need a little bling! :o)

Passion For Markers Challenge #618 - Anything Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

It's lovely to see you here again, I hope you like my card I have to share with you today for the new challenge at Passion For Markers.

ANYTHING CHRISTMAS

I've used this gorgeous digital stamp from Power Poppy called 'Mittens and Merriment' for the main focal point of this card. I have coloured it using my Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Triblends. The paper is from Hunkydory's 'A Sparkling Season' paper pad and the dies used are Tonic Deco Fleurs Layering Frames, Tonic Religious Baubles Set for the sentiment and two Marianne Designs Corner Dies. Glitter & Ribbon from my stash.

Allsorts Challenge #650 - Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

Christmas is only 6 more Saturdays away!

That's a bit of a shock to the system, I knew it was getting close but counting it up on the calendar gave me a bit of a turn - I'm not ready!

I have started to buy some presents and thankfully I don't have too many to get so that can easily be achieved but although I make Christmas cards all year round I always find that I am still short of some and then there's a scrabble to get enough made to cover everyone. Perhaps I should have made a card instead of these Christmas ATC's but I wanted to enter a swap with them and these are also my design team inspiration for the new challenge at ALLSORTS this week for their Christmas theme.

I used a Tim Holtz stencil for the background and dies for the reindeer and fir tree. I heat embossed some Shabby white embossing powder on to the background to resemble snow. The sentiment has also been heat embossed in gold and the mini gold glitter pegs have been in my stash for years. I thought each reindeer deserved a jingle bell so added that with a piece of shimmery twine.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #23 Christmas Wreath

 Hi Crafters,

We are on to challenge number 23 at the Christmas Card Club so nearly to the end of our card-making year, it has flown by so quickly but we all have a good supply of Christmas cards in our stash now ready for the big day. I used a Carnation Crafts Tattered Frame Die for the gold backing layer and then fussy cut all the decoupage and used glossy accents for the kitty's nose and eyes. Gems in the centre of the poinsettia flower.

Allsorts Challenge #649 - From Boys to Men

 Hi Crafters,

Yay! It's Saturday, another busy week has flown by so fast and I find myself one week into November - how did this happen?

We have a new challenge starting at Allsorts where we want to see all your makes for the BOYS and MEN in your life.

I have created this coastal scene using some free stamps from a magazine and used my water-colour paints for the image but Distress Inks and a stencil to create the sky.

All the stamps and the sentiment were part of the stamp set, including the porthole which I have mounted on 3D foam and attached acetate to the back but the camera isn't showing this I'm afraid.
