Look Away Now !

Hi Crafters,
***ENABLER ALERT***
(I do not wish to be blamed for making you get more crafty stash)

I've had a few requests to share my crafty purchases from my bi-annual pilgrimage to the NEC last Thursday.
As I laid them out to take the picture I realised just how much I had bought but they were all things I NEEDED, you know how it is girls. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Magnolia stand there this year and just had to snap up some dies. I got some great bargains from the 'Every crafts a pound' stall and like Jacee I had to get some of the Beatrix Potter CD roms. I was also lucky enough to get the free £50 gift bag from Crafters Companion on the Pink Frog stall for being one of the first five customers although it isn't in the picture here. So all in all I was a lucky girl and had a fab time.
Any how, waffle over, this is what you have been waiting for...

I always stock up on cardstock while I am there as postage is very high on the net. I couldn't resist the Inkylicious and Lavinia stamps, I have some ideas planned for those and of course I needed more ribbons and lace.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my haul, good job it only happens twice a year though.
Happy crafting!

A Cutie from Wild Rose Studio

Hi Crafters,
I have made a card using this cute magazine freebie stamp and paper pad. It was one of the cards I made for my daughters' birthday last week for her Nanny to send to her. This image is so adorable and reminds me of my daughter when she was little.
I have coloured her with my Promarkers using the illustration on the stamp packet for inspiration and am really pleased with how she came out.

Sharing an Oldie this Friday

Hi Crafters,
How is everyone?
Well I feel like I have been run over by a steam roller today, I had a fabulous time yesterday walking round the NEC craft show at Birmingham and buying lots of crafty stash but today I am suffering with a flair up of Fibromyalgia and I ache all over. I've tried taking my mind off it by crafting but I just don't feel up to it, so I thought I would blog instead. I have rather a lot of cards and projects that haven't seen the spotlight yet so I thought I would join in with Erika at Snappy Crafts and post an 'Oldie on Friday'...

I used a Marianne Designs Cupcake die and some digital papers for this one, the sentiment is a stamp but I can't remember what set it came from and I haven't got any notes on this card so without looking through all my stamps I couldn't say. The border was made with a Martha Stewart punch and some ric-rac ribbon.
I will definitely be joining in with this weekly post again, it's fun to look back at what you have made in the past and also to see how your style has changed over time too.
Enjoy your day, it's quite sunny here now after the eclipse and the overcast start to the day, hope you are getting some sun too.
