Christmas Card Club Challenge #19 - Woolly Hats and Gloves

Hi Crafters,

Happy Sunday to you all!
I've just returned from a weeks holiday on the East Coast, we had fabulous weather and couldn't have asked for more as it was late in the season and unexpected.
My absence explains my sporadic commenting last week so if I did not visit you then rest assured I will be popping along soon over the next few days.

Now on to why I'm here today, it's another Christmas Card Club project.
This time it was Kate's turn to choose the theme for our Christmas creations, she has given us

Woolly Hats & Gloves

I've used another of these fabulous Craft Creations Decoupage images for my card.
She's wearing a hat and gloves and I'm guessing they're woolly so hope this fits the brief.

Recipe
Image - Craft Creations Decoupage Sheet
Papers - Dovecraft 'Glad Tidings' 8 x 8 Pad

Challenges I'd like to enter:
CHNC Christmas Extra - Sept. ATG
CHNC Every Saturday - ATG as long as it's Christmas / Cute
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - #381 Christmas

My Christmas card making is coming along a treat and I have quite a pile now so feel pretty pleased at this stage. Most of my family ones are made now and I have plenty for my stall too.

Please pop along to the other ladies in the group, they have all created some fantastic cards for this week - you know the drill by now that their blog links are in my top tab bar above.

See you soon,

Lorraine
xXx

Fabulous card Lorraine with a super image. Yes, I recognise your backing papers! For some reason your post hasn't shown up in my list and I had to go into your blog manually. Blogger does some funny things at times! Hugs Christine xx

We had a weekend away and were amazed at the beautiful sunny weather so I'm glad you got some too!
It seems much cooler and more Autumnal this week though...we'll be needing the woolly hats and gloves (and scarves!) soon I think, just like the lady on your card.
Your design looks so elegant in traditional colours and I love the little corners that you cut with the words on :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx

I haven't started my cards yet but then that isn't unusual. I am usually last minute and very simple by the time I get in the mood to do them.
I think you card matches Kate's brief perfectly, one very warm classy bird, so to speak!
Loving your Christmas papers too.

Hope you had a super holiday, still waiting for mine!

Hugs Erika. x

The image of the girl fairly pops off your card. I love the design and all those colours. Lovely. I'm woefully late as I have been away too but didn't manage to get anything scheduled before I left. Hugs Mrs A.
