Gnomes

 Hi Crafters,

I recently entered a swap on Facebook with the Gecko Galz Papercrafting Challenge Group. The theme for this ATC challenge was Gnomes and we were given several images to work with to create 3 ATC's to send to our partners.

Here is my set...

I used various techniques, stamping, texture paste, glass beads, heat embossing and inking around the edges. I added some die cut Sizzix mushrooms to complement the background images and the sign post and fence elements are from a Stamps with Me stamp set.

I received a fabulous set in return from my swap partner Carole Jones.

She even decorated the mini pocket letter sleeve that housed them. I have a way to go before I reach this standard but I really enjoyed participating in the swap and look forward to the next one.

I'd like to enter my ATC's into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp this week.

Well, it's my turn to choose the theme this week at Passion For Markers and I'm feeling in a RED kind of mood so I'd like you to use the colour RED on your projects. It can be in the papers/cardstock, embellishments or in the image. Please remember we are a colouring challenge so you must use your Markers somewhere on your project and tell us in your post where you have used them.

Well the first week of the new year is underway and we are back in the swing of our fortnightly challenge at our friendly Christmas Card Club. This first challenge has been set by Margaret our leader and she would like to see...

Now this year I am determined to make multiple cards for each theme - we'll see how that pans out in the coming months :) -  in an attempt to create an even larger stash of Christmas cards come the end of the year as I found that I still didn't have enough made by Christmas last year :/
