Hi Crafters,
I'm here today to share my DT card for
Top Tip Tuesday. Now you can interpret the theme how you wish, an 'action image' could mean an image doing an activity like skating, cycling, running or it could be as I have chosen to interpret it as an action card. Here is my Penny Slider Card using 'Bunny on a Rocket from our sponsor this time which is

Bunny on a Rocket Digital image - Zlatoena's Designs

Two Pennies
Star Stamps - Lavinia Stamps
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Stamps
Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concorde
Two tone cardstock and various circle dies.
This was such a fun card to make and I loved colouring the little bunny image. I started by stamping random stars over the plain top card layer with clear embossing ink and heat embossed them. Than I inked the sky with Distress Inks, the embossed stars resist the ink and stay white and glossy. Then I spritzed with a water mister to create an outer space look. The planet was created using two different toned pieces of cardstock cut in to circles and using smaller circle dies I randomly cut out the craters and popped it up on foam tape. My image was coloured using my Pro/flexmarkers and attached to one penny with a foam circle. Another foam circle was sandwiched between that and the other penny making the slider mechanism. The tricky part was cutting the curved slot in the top layer of card, I made myself a template first as I didn't want to mess it up at this stage. Once the slot was made then the penny sandwich was inserted and the Rocket now slides and spins along the slot looking like Bunny is whizzing around the planet. That just left the sentiment and I had the perfect one from Clearly Besotted Stamps.
Hope you like my little Penny Slider Card, they are quite easy to make and some of the other DT members have made action cards too so please take a look and get some great ideas. You could win yourself two digital images from our sponsor this time if you are the lucky winner. I look forward to seeing all your entries over the next two weeks.
Challenges I'd like to enter:
Thank you for visiting today and your comments are always welcome. I've been steadily trying to get round all of your blogs recently whilst also trying to build up some more stock for my stall so I apologise if I haven't managed to get to you yet but I have two craft fairs coming up and a Farmers Market event soon which is taking up quite a lot of my time, oh and the family need feeding once in a while, lol. I can see all your lovely creations coming up in my feed list but I can not always comment but be sure that I am following what you are up to and when things quieten down a bit I will visit.
Hope you are managing to stay away from all the nasty bugs and I wish you a happy Spring and hopefully some warmer weather.
See you soon,
Lorraine
