Spring at Passion For Markers Challenge #683

 Hi Crafters,

It was the Spring equinox last week and I'm looking forward to some Spring weather, pretty blossoms, flourishing wildlife and all that goes with the onset of this glorious season. How apt then that our challenge at Passion For Markers this week is

SPRING

We'd love to see all your Spring themed creations using your Markers of course.

Sunglasses at the ready... it's a bright one!

I have wanted to try this shadow technique using letter dies for some time now but I always chicken out at the last minute not wanting to possibly spoil my coloured image by cutting into it with dies. So my heart was in my mouth as I fed the piece through my die cutting machine, I crossed everything and hoped for the best. I'm quite pleased although I think the letters are slightly wonky but not too bad for a first attempt.

Allsorts Challenge #721 - ATG/opt. Rain

 Hi Crafters,

It's lovely to see you here again, it's Saturday and you know what that means, another fabulous new challenge at Allsorts. Check out the prizes on offer to the lucky winners for this months challenges in my post below.

Our optional theme this week is

RAIN

I found this a difficult challenge to begin with as I don't seem to have many stamps on this theme and the ones I did have were already represented by other Teamies, then I remembered a Memory Box die in my stash called 'A Little Rain' - it cuts out the rain drops into your card. I coupled it with a cute Bugaboo image (sadly no longer trading) and the card came together.

To a very Special Lady

 Hi Crafters,

Yesterday was Mother's Day here in the UK and this is the card I made for my wonderful mum which I can share now.

While on holiday last year I visited Honeypot Crafts in Sheffield and joined in with a workshop there. I had a fabulous time and also enjoyed a little spend at the end of the session too :o) The dies used in this card were some of my goodies. The frame die has such delicate scallops and yet it cuts beautifully, the mark of great engineering, the shadow word dies are also very delicate but as each die is coated they release from the die like a dream. The blossom sprigs are Carnation Crafts from their New Season Floral Die set.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #6 Santa

 Hi Crafters,

I'm sharing another Christmas card make with you today for the new challenge at our friendly Christmas Card Club.

This week our theme was

SANTA

Above is a lovely image from Hunkydory and sentiment die is from Poppy Crafts. (I'm still trying to use up my Peel-offs too)
Below is an adorable image which I couldn't resist buying from CraftsUprint, I just love his jolly face.

I have layered the image with foam tape and added some glitter to his beard and to the snowflakes for a simple card design.

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit....

 Hi Crafters,

...that's what we always said as children when the first of the month came around in the hopes of a little luck that month. Did you remember to say it this morning? I never liked the 'Pinch, Punch first of the month' saying - at school I'm sure that the boys (and some girls) used this to justify being spiteful to other classmates. Do you have a saying in your part of the world when the first of the month comes around?

Anyway, I've waffled on long enough, it's time to share my DT card for the new challenge starting at

Crafts Galore Encore
