Passion For Promarkers Challenge #482 - Shaped Cards

Hi Crafters,

I'm popping in today to share my Shaped Card creation for our challenge this week at Passion For Promarkers.

I've used this fabulous image from our sponsor called 'Feeling Spoilt' and coloured it with my Promarkers.

I cut the card shape by hand starting with a standard 5" x 7" card blank and dividing it in to three for the tiers of the cake. The papers are from two separate paper pads, Deco Time DS0887_01 and Joy Crafts 'Afternoon Tea' which I also cut by hand to create the icing. The candle stamp is an old one from a Creative Expressions set called 'Sundae' and I've coloured this with my Promarkers to match my lady's dress and gift box to tie it all together.

Passion For Promarkers Challenge #397 - Make a Kinetic Card

Hi Crafters,

It's the start of a new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and we are making Kinetic Cards this week.

So anything with movement in them and using your Winsor Newton Markers of course.

We are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps who are offering 2 digital images to the winner.

I decided to go for a box card construction and use the pretty Fairy Swing image with her swinging between the branches of the trees. I reinforced the tree die cuts with two of those wooden coffee stirrers. 

I changed the dimensions of the box from a square to a rectangle to accommodate the width of the image and trees without making the whole thing huge!

...and here's a close-up of the gorgeous image and if you tap her gently she really does swing back and forth.

Top Tip Tuesday Challenge - Duo

Hi Crafters,
Some of you may have caught a glimpse of this card I am about to share with you when I had a slight boo - boo with the schedule button the other day. I wasn't quite quick enough to stop it posting on Facebook but these things happen and so here is my card for the new challenge at Top Tip Tuesday - 'Duo'.

A close up of some details for you...

 

 You can just see the inking and heat embossing on the dry embossed background and that gorgeous doily die...



... and here is the 'Love' embellishment I made from a Sizzix die which I cut three times and glued together, then heat embossed with both a red glitter embossing powder and a clear coat to give it a sparkly glaze. It's a nice chunky word embellishment without being heavy. I paper pieced her dress but coloured everything else with my Promarkers.
