Christmas Card Club Challenge #24 - All Wrapped Up

Hi Crafters,

Our theme this time at the Christmas Card Club is 'All Wrapped Up' or Anything Goes.
As I haven't made any gift bags this year and just concentrated on cards I thought I'd share these fun box cards this time.
All from a magazine freebie set but so cute.

I love how these fold flat for posting but create such a fun display when opened.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
CHNC Every Saturday - #423 ATG
Rudolph Day Challenge - NOV ATG Christmas

Please take a look at the inspirational cards and projects on the other team members blogs, their links are in the tab at the top of my blog.
Well Christmas is approaching very quickly now and I hope you have managed to make a start on your Christmas preparations.

See you soon,

Lorraine

Passion For Promarkers Challenge #397 - Make a Kinetic Card

Hi Crafters,

It's the start of a new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and we are making Kinetic Cards this week.

So anything with movement in them and using your Winsor Newton Markers of course.
We are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps who are offering 2 digital images to the winner.

I decided to go for a box card construction and use the pretty Fairy Swing image with her swinging between the branches of the trees. I reinforced the tree die cuts with two of those wooden coffee stirrers.
I changed the dimensions of the box from a square to a rectangle to accommodate the width of the image and trees without making the whole thing huge!

...and here's a close-up of the gorgeous image and if you tap her gently she really does swing back and forth.

Baby Boy Box Card

Hi Crafters,

Well the weekend has arrived albeit a cold one here, I hope you are all safe and well.

Today I have a box card to share with you for a baby boy.
They're tricky things to take pictures of so I'm afraid there are quite a few to show all the angles.

Recipe
Spellbinders Scalloped Pop Up Box Die
Baby Boy Cardstock - Limetree Crafts
Marianne Designs Pram (LR0218), Train (LR0308) & Baby Shoe (LR0304) Dies
Britannia Word Dies
Sentiment Stamps - Clearly Besotted Stamps & Kaiser Craft

This was made using a new die to me that I purchased at the NEC back in November, it's the first opportunity I've had to use it. It does make life easier when you don't have to measure everything and cuts like a dream. This card fits into a 6" x 6" envelope when flattened.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
OSAAT - #253 No Square or Rectangle cards
Crafty Cardmakers - #155 NEW: Baby, Marriage, Home etc
Fab n Funky - #287 For A Child
Creative Moments - #84 New Beginnings

Thanks for visiting today and for the lovely comments you have left on my previous post too. I appreciate and read every one of them.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Card-In-A Box ~ Baby Girl

Hi Crafters,
I couldn't make a Baby Boy card without following it up with a Baby Girl card now could I?
So this is it...

I used the same stamps and dies from Clearly Besotted Stamps for the baby items and then used their Sky's The Limit dies for the clouds and kite.
The papers were freebies from another magazine...
...and the bling, twine and heart button were from my stash.
Sorry about the photo's, I really don't know what's going on with my camera at the moment. It was never that brilliant to start with but it seems to be rather temperamental right now and is throwing a wobbly. These are the best I could get.
Will be round for a catch up with your blogs later,

See you soon.

Card-In-A-Box ~ Baby Boy

Hi Crafters, we've had such a lovely sunny day here, albeit a little chilly, I hope you've had the same.
I have seen so many Box Cards on the internet lately that I just had to give it a try so here is my  Baby Boy card in a box.

I used the lovely stamp and die sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps for the train and the baby items. The paper was from a magazine freebie and the heart shaped button and twine from my stash.
Here's a closer shot...

...a top view...

...and a side view...

The back has a blank panel to write your message and I stamped 'Bundle of Joy' on it but unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of that, my camera decided that there wasn't enough light at that point even though I hadn't changed anything from taking all the other photo's and it wouldn't focus properly, so I admitted defeat and called it a day. This card will fit inside a C5 envelope when folded flat so it's perfect for sending and surprisingly isn't that bulky.
Challenges I'd like to enter are:
Addicted To Stamps - Fancy Folds
Scribble & Scrap - Anything Goes
Country View Challenges - New Beginnings

Thanks for stopping by,

See you soon,
