For Mum...

Hi Crafters,

This was the Christmas card that I made for my mum this year, she loves poinsettias and has quite green fingers when keeping them successfully from one year to the next.

I thought I'd make an easel card to show off this lovely Craft Creations decoupage image.
I layered the tartan paper from Craft Sensations on to glitter card for a beautiful sparkling border and used metallic gold card for the rest of the mats and to cut my Britannia Die sentiment. Grossgrain ribbon from stash.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Allsorts Challenge - #447/8 Seasonal Flowers
Crafty Creations - #357 ATG
Fussy & Fancy - #202 Christmas

Bye for now,

Snow Globe Trio

Hi Crafters,

Third time lucky, I've found time to pop in again today!

I'd like to enter my snow globe cards in to these challenges:

Double D Challenges - Baby It's Cold Outside

Recipe
Snow Globe Die - Hunkydory Cardmaking collection issue 2
Yvonne Creations - Holly Jolly Nesting Frame
Wplus9 Banner Die
Stampin' Up Sentiment Stamp
Sue Wilson Embossing Folder
Tonic Scalloped Square Die

As this die cuts all the elements in one go I cut it from silver mirri, glitter and white card then mixed and matched the elements to create three cards.

That's all for now,

Quick Male Cards

Hi Crafters,

Get me! My second post for today, that's unheard of :)

I bought this gorgeous Docrafts paper pad before Christmas called Time To Sparkle and set about creating a few designs with it.
The papers are in a black, gold and white combination with glitter and foil too, very luxurious.

Recipe
Black and Gold Time To Sparkle Papers
Tonic Studio Sentiment die

I'd like to enter this in to the challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz - #185 Last Minute Christmas.

Here are a couple more designs that I made

The Strip going across with the trees and Santa on his sleigh is a glittered ribbon and the sentiment is a Sue Wilson Die.

An Apple Blossom sentiment die teamed with a Find It Trading Christmas Ornament die.

Well that's a few more cards shared, only another couple of hundred or so to go, lol :)
How did I get this far behind? Perhaps I'd better try to stick to a New Years resolution of blogging every day to get through all the cards that I make.

We'll see about that one,
Bye for now,

Feeling Stuffed

Hi Crafters,

I hope you all had a lovely time celebrating the season, I'd like to say a big thank you for all the gorgeous handmade Christmas cards and wishes that I received and hope that you're looking forward to a Happy and Healthy New Year.
We're feeling rather stuffed after over indulging on all the festive fayre, why do we do this every year? We had family to celebrate with us over the two days and I always cook and provide more food than is needed, still hubby doesn't mind turkey sandwiches and mini sausage rolls to pack-up for work so it's all good.
I've been having a quiet 'me' day today as he's gone back to work and the house is quiet and empty after all the hub-bub earlier this week.
Had a catch-up on emails and blogs (although I still have more to visit) and a browse through the crafty sales that have started today and find that I actually don't 'need' anything! :)

I'll leave you with a little card that I made using another fun 3D decoupage sheet from Craft Creations. I added a little white glitter to it and left it at that.

See you soon,

Lorraine
