Christmas Card Club Challenge #21 - Snow Globe

 Hi Crafters,

Christmas is looming and I have a couple of cards to share for the Christmas Card Club. It was Gwen's turn to choose a theme and she has picked

SNOW GLOBE

These are both CraftsUprint downloads and I covered the snow globe area with Debbi Moore's Print Magic which gives a sparkly layer in real life - the camera however has caused a white-out in parts but you get the idea I hope? I cut and decoupaged the layers and added some tiny gems too.

Please take a look at the other ladies blogs, links are in my sidebar under the CCC tab to see their creations.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Snow Globe Trio

Hi Crafters,

Third time lucky, I've found time to pop in again today!

I'd like to enter my snow globe cards in to these challenges:

Double D Challenges - Baby It's Cold Outside

Recipe
Snow Globe Die - Hunkydory Cardmaking collection issue 2
Yvonne Creations - Holly Jolly Nesting Frame
Wplus9 Banner Die
Stampin' Up Sentiment Stamp
Sue Wilson Embossing Folder
Tonic Scalloped Square Die

As this die cuts all the elements in one go I cut it from silver mirri, glitter and white card then mixed and matched the elements to create three cards.

That's all for now,

Christmas Card Club Challenge #20 - Make It Round

Hi Crafters,

Pinch, Punch, First of the month!
Wow! How did we get here?
Well it's October 1st and a new challenge for our friendly Christmas Card Club and Valery's turn to choose a theme.

MAKE IT ROUND

Recipe
Precious Marieke Snowglobe Die
Precious Marieke Winter Fun Ornament Die
Tonic 'Merry Christmas' Die
Cottage Cutz Holly Leaves Die
Anna Marie Snowfall Acetate
Red Gems

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Aud Sentiments - #189 Use a 2 Word Sentiment
Winter Wonderland - ATG Christmas
Crafty Creations - #351 ATG

I haven't had a chance to play with these beautiful Christmas dies yet so this weeks theme gave me just that opportunity. I was going to create a shaker card, hence the acetate front but decided it would detract from the lovely wintry scene within, so I left it plain, hope you like it.

Please take a visit to the ladies blogs in this group (links in tab above) you will find some gorgeous makes there and plenty of inspiration for your own Christmas card making.

See you soon,

Lorraine

Christmas Card Club Challenge #4 - Snow Covered Trees

** My 613 Avenue Create DT post is coming shortly, thanks **

Hi Crafters,

It is time to show you another creation for our friendly Christmas Card Club and the theme was chosen by our lovely Mary who has picked 'snow covered trees'.
We have been lucky here so far with the weather and haven't seen any snow yet apart from the odd flurry but I guess, it is only the middle of February and there is time yet for the white stuff to visit.
Here is my card...

I have used the last of my plastic domes (sad face) and a decoupage sheet from the Snow Globes CD Rom, I sprinkled white Flower Soft on to the trees and as a shaker element in the dome. I made one like this last year but with a Christmas Village scene in it. The card front was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and the music ribbon came from my stash. I punched out some ovals using my Stampin' Up punches to mount the sentiment on.
Challenges:

CHNC Christmas Challenge Extra - February Challenge.

Well this one makes four new cards this year in my Christmas box and there were already a few left over from last year so I have a healthy stash of Christmas cards so far - a good feeling. Do pop over to the members blogs and see their creations ( list in page tab at the top) and maybe even have ago yourself.
See you soon,

Lorraine
