Stencils at Passion For Markers Challenge #721

 Hi Crafters,

Thank you for joining me today for our new challenge at Passion For Markers. Alongside using your Markers this week we would love to see you using a stencil/s of some kind on your projects.

Here is my card

I have used a couple of stamps from an All & Create set called #286 Best Mate which I have coloured using my Promarkers and Copics. The sentiment comes from this stamp set too. I have used a few stencils on my card - Polkadoodles Clouds and Grass stencil and a non-branded one for the Bones ( I have a Fish Bone one for a cat themed card which I am itching to use too). The stencils were inked with Distress Oxide inks. My two little embellishment Bones are from a die set called Dog House by Amy Designs.

Christmas Card Club Challenge - #9 Stencils

 Hi Crafters,

It's our ninth Christmas Card Club challenge today.  Time just ran out for me this week so looking through my folders I found this card that I made last year but never blogged.

The owl and sentiment were a magazine freebie stamp set and I added some stencilled stars to an inky splattered leftover scrap piece of card. The stamping around the edge is from a Studio Light frame stamp called Winter Trails. I then coloured the little owl with Promarkers.

Mixed Media Playtime & GDT

Hi Crafters,

I was lucky enough to be asked to join in at the Try It On Tuesday challenge as a Guest Designer this week.

Their theme is...

USE A STENCIL OR TWO

I've been wanting to do more mixed media projects for some time now and a few weeks ago I created a Journal Cover to hopefully house my mixed media projects that I create in the future (see this post HERE) So this is my first page which initially was going to be folded in half to fit my journal but now that it's finished I can't bear to fold it! I should have made it in two halves but hey-hoe...learning curve!

I used 5 stencils in all, sometimes inking through them and other times to add texture paste.

The stamps are by Lindsay Mason which I stamped on to old book pages, water-coloured and fussy cut.

The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
