Another Great Guy Card

Hi Crafters,
I was asked to make a birthday card showing a man on a ride-on mower as this was his dream to own one, so here is my offering...

I had a digital image from Karen's Doodles on my computer and I merged it with a garden picture in 'My Craft Studio', then set about colouring it with my Promarkers. The Happy Birthday is a Stampin' Up stamp which I mounted on top of two banners.

This is a short and sweet post today, I am frantically trying to make lots of cards and gifts for a stall I will be having on 26th September in aid of the Macmillan 'Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning' charity event at a local school. Hopefully I will get done in time.

Relaxing in the Man Cave

Hi Everyone,
Yay ! The sun has come out today here and it feels much better, hope you are enjoying some sunshine where you are.
This is another card I made for my Nephew, the image comes from Karen's Doodles and is called Man Cave.

This image was so much fun to colour and I enjoyed creating the stone wall look in the cave. Here's a close up of the image...

 

 

The background was created by embossing the green cardstock with the cuttlebug folder and then applying Versamark clear embossing ink over the raised squares so they could be heat embossed with clear embossing powder - I thought this looked like animal skin.
