Passion For Promarkers Challenge #403 - Add Pearls

Hi Crafters,

Another Tuesday has come around again and so we have a new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers.

Add Pearls

To qualify for the prize from Uniko Stamps who are offering a (in stock) stamp set of your choice, you must firstly follow the theme and use your Winsor Newton (formerly Letraset) markers.

I had a commission for a rather unusual Wedding card recently. The recipients love to spend time in their caravan and so this was the theme of their card. I managed to find this Woodware stamp set and thought the caravan and banner were perfect. I coloured them to match in with the gold and cream of the papers and lace and added a little touch of Wink Of Stella clear pen for a shimmery look. Hopefully the second picture shows this for you.

Gypsy Caravan

Hi Crafters,

A friend of mine really likes Gypsy caravans and so I created this card for her birthday...

Recipe
Tattered Lace Die Cut - Gypsy Caravan (Ebay)
Magnolia Lace Semi Circle Die made in to a circle
Magnolia Lace Border Die for edging
Trimcraft Fun Fair papers
Penny Black Sentiment and Banner Stamp
Glitter Ribbon
Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Sparkle Embossing Powder

I have been itching to use these papers since I bought them from the NEC and I thought this card was perfect for the colours and patterns on the papers. Gypsy caravans are always painted and decorated very colourfully and these papers reminded me of that. They have encapsulated glitter on them in parts and I echoed this by using the Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder around the edges of the lacy borders. My friend was really pleased with her card and therefore so was I.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Eureka Stamps - #144 Three or More Patterned Papers.
Scribble & Scrap - #46 ATG

Well that all from me,

Lorraine
