Christmas Card Club Challenge - #12 Star of Wonder or Anything Goes

Hi Crafters,

Today is the twelfth challenge of our Christmas Card Club so each of the members should have at least twelve cards set aside for Christmas this year! A great start to alleviate the panic nearer the big day.
I have chosen to go with the Anything Goes option for today's card, thanks Zoe for a great theme this time.

Recipe
Die - Christmas Scene Mini Background  - Sue Wilson
Sentiment Die - Creative Essentials
Snowflake Embossing Folder
Pebeo Silver Gilding Wax

In real life this gilding wax has a beautiful sheen to it but alas not in my photos.
A simple card to put together once the dies have been cut but one that could easily be given a different look just by changing the colour scheme.
This die happened to fall in to my basket while 'browsing' through Ebay, ahem. I thought it would be very useful as the inner rectangle could be replaced by an image or verse and this could easily be a winter Birthday card or similar as it's only the circular centre die cut that depicts Christmas.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
CHNC Challenge - June Challenge
CHNC Every Saturday - #285 Silver
Crafty Cardmakers - #165 Monochrome

Thank you for visiting today, if you get a chance to visit the other ladies on the team (list in top bar of header) you will be greeted with some fabulous creations to help with your festive inspiration and ideas, however I am posting a day early so their posts will be tomorrow but well worth waiting for.

See you tomorrow,

Lorraine
xXx

I love Sue Wilson dies, so of course I'm entranced with this gorgeous card. I can just imagine the gleam of your gilding over the cardstock. This is such a cute scene, and those dies sure made this card come to life! Good for you at finding on eBay. I've had to force myself to avoid the SW...I have NO sales resistance. TFS & Hugs.
