Christmas Card Club Challenge #8 - Red Berries

Hi Crafters,

Happy Saturday to you all!
Let the weekend begin!

I'm a day early as usual sharing my CCC card on the theme of 'Red Berries' which was chosen by our lovely Valery.

This was a very quick card and I feel as if I have cheated a bit, it is just a very sweet decoupage image from Crafty Creations, a few mats and layers with a little white glitter for the snow. My customers have been asking for flatter cards, due to postage costs and so this limits the amount of embellishing I can do. Never mind, I get to indulge myself on family and friends cards that can be hand delivered.

Hopefully the rest of our ladies will be posting their creations tomorrow but I have another DT card for Sunday, so pop back then and use the links in the tab above to visit their blogs.

See you then,

Lorraine
xXx

I might be a quick card Lorraine but it's a super Robin image with a lovely traditional feel.

Hope you have a good weekend.

Super card Lorraine. Robins seem synonymous with Christmas and yet they are in the garden all year round. And it's snowing heavens hard as I write this so very in keeping with teh Christmas theme ... lol. Like you the majority of my cards will be flat becauuse the postage is just so high. I do go to town on those for family and close friends though. Hugs Christine x

A super Christmas card Lorraine but I know what you mean about cheating, I used to feel guilty about it but now I don't. Time isn't always on your side.
I think this card is perfect and love your robin, with a touch of sparkle.

Hugs Erika. x

Hello Lorraine, beautiful card, I love Robins, and we have one that is around all the time, at least I think it's the same one. Your card is so traditional and I love the crystallize snow on the handle. Love the garden image with the berries, great challenge make, Kate x

I have to confess Loraine that i'm not a big follower of decoupage images, but this could very easily convert me. It's really gorgeous. Love all the berries and the Robin is fab. Have a good Sunday. Zx

Stunning image, (of course I love this robin perched in the gorgeous holly). Love the way you've done the holly & berry spotlighted in the circle too. The glitter shows well as icy snow on Robin's branch too. Congrats on your win over at Culliesocks! TFS & Hugs
