** My 613 Avenue Create DT post is coming shortly, thanks **
Hi Crafters,
It is time to show you another creation for our friendly Christmas Card Club and the theme was chosen by our lovely Mary who has picked 'snow covered trees'.
We have been lucky here so far with the weather and haven't seen any snow yet apart from the odd flurry but I guess, it is only the middle of February and there is time yet for the white stuff to visit.
Here is my card...
I have used the last of my plastic domes (sad face) and a decoupage sheet from the Snow Globes CD Rom, I sprinkled white Flower Soft on to the trees and as a shaker element in the dome. I made one like this last year but with a Christmas Village scene in it. The card front was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and the music ribbon came from my stash. I punched out some ovals using my Stampin' Up punches to mount the sentiment on.
Challenges:
CHNC Christmas Challenge Extra - February Challenge.
Well this one makes four new cards this year in my Christmas box and there were already a few left over from last year so I have a healthy stash of Christmas cards so far - a good feeling. Do pop over to the members blogs and see their creations ( list in page tab at the top) and maybe even have ago yourself.
See you soon,
Lorraine
Like you Lorraine nothing more than a flurry so far, but still time I guess.
ReplyDeleteSuch a tranquil scene on your card.

Just a breathtaking scene created under the dome. Love the F/soft on the trees, so very realistic against that wonderful blue sky. A very peaceful scene, and like the way you've done the cut-out amidst the snow-flake embossing. Really love the way you've interpreted the Snowy Tree theme. Love it! TFS & Hugs
