Music To My Ears

Hi Crafters,

The weekend has arrived and as this goes live I will be setting up my card stall at a local Farmers and Craft Market, there are a lot of events taking place today and this weekend so lets hope there's enough customers to go around :o)

Here's my card for today, I've used a lovely Tonic Studios guitar die cut in silver mirri and backed it with red cardstock.

Babies

Hi Crafters,

There's a new challenge starting at Fab n Funky with the theme of BABIES, so I took this opportunity to create some baby cards to stock up my stall.

Using an LOTV printed images I cut a second layer and decoupaged it. the gingham background and letters were created in MY Craft Studio.

Another Craft Creations decoupage sheet, I love these.

This uses a Marianne Designs Pram Die.

I think this die cut is so sweet and I used a new Sue Wilson sentiment die.

Crazy Monsters & Spongebob!

Hi Crafters,

I've been playing with the scraps of cardstock that we all have left over after we've made our cards.

Together with some embossing folders, punches, inks and a little inspiration from Pinterest I've created these...

They were really fun to make. I used two different Cuttlebug embossing folders and various Stampin' Up punches for the shapes.

Wedding Horseshoe

Hi Crafters,

Yesterday I shared with you a Wedding Keepsake Box, today I have the lucky Horseshoe that went with it.

I used an MDF horseshoe from Anna Marie Designs and painted it white, then added the silver print paper and lots of pearls. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Anna Marie Designs and my stash.

After this photo was taken I added a banner across the horseshoe with the names of the happy couple and the date of their wedding day.

Wedding Box/Keepsake

Hi Crafters,

I was asked to create a Wedding Box or Keepsake so that money could be given to the happy couple in something a bit more presentable than just an envelope, it is also big enough to keep mementos of the day ie. garter, place name, confetti etc.

I used lots of lace, pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The chipboard 'Mr & Mrs' is from Anna Marie Designs.

The Majestic Oak

Hi Crafters,

That's the name of the fabulous stamp set by Sheena Douglas that I used to create this card.

Red has always been my favourite colour so I like to use it whenever I can plus I think the contrast between the black and white is very striking and effective too.

I set out this morning to create a quick post to share three cards, it turned out to be not that quick after all, lol.  I made a Purr-fect mess up by not realising Inlinkz doesn't take multiple pictures from the same URL, never mind you got to see my cards twice.

Feline Capers

Hi Crafters,

A quick post today to share three cards that I have made recently which all fit nicely in to the challenge at Creative Moments - #150 Anything Goes / Cats

The images are from a Jane Netley Mayhew CD and a Hunkydory Pad, then I've used my favourite cat silhouette die in two of them from Impression obsession and the cat corners (above) were cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

Well that's my maximum three entries used up for this challenge and some cards shared with you all. I haven't been posting here very often this year so I have a file on my computer that's bursting at the seams with cards waiting to be shown therfore I might do some posts that have multiple cards in them which will whittle them down a bit.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #16 - Christmas Activities

Hi Crafters,

Two weeks have gone by and it's time to share some Christmas cards for our Christmas Card Club Challenge.

The theme this week really made me get my thinking cap on regarding what relevant things I had in my stash to go along with Maureen's choice...although we have the option of Anything Goes now too.

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES

(Sleigh, Sled, Ski's)

I decided to make a few of the same design as my pile of Christmas cards needed filling out I thought.

These were created using some gold glittery papers from a Dovecrafts paper pad called 'Time To Sparkle' and some fabulous shaped gold ribbon featuring the sleigh and trees. The sentiment is an Apple Blossom Die.

There are 4 pictured here but I made 8! and still have plenty of that gorgeous ribbon left :o)
