Hi Crafters,
Two weeks have passed by so quickly and I'm here again to share my cards for the Christmas Card Club.
Mary has given us Poinsettias or Christmas Greenery for our theme.
I've created two very different cards this time.
The top one is using a Craft Creations decoupage sheet and some beautiful tartan paper.
The second card uses a Christmas embossing folder from Apple Blossom and TH Tattered Poinsettia Die cut and embossed using pearlescent card which really makes the embossing stand out. I finished off the poinsettia with a Creative Expressions Dazzler.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Lorraine, love the rich purple xx
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love both of these, and they are so totally different in style from each other. While I love the traditional reds & greens, with the lush basket of poinsettias displayed against that lovely tartan, the purple & green just took my breath away. Love the non-traditional colors of that gorgeous poinsettia, and the swirl design of purple green and white is just beautiful. Well done, indeed, on this challenge! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteoooh these are lovely and certainly very different from each other.
ReplyDeleteIt's a close call, but I'm a fan of embossing so the bottom would have to be my favourite and I like the non traditional colours for a change

Two wonderful cards, Lorraine. The first is such a pretty decoupage image. I have made up this one a long time ago. I loved it then and still do. I never knew where the papers were from as I bought them at a garage sale...so thanks for the knowledge...
