Christmas Card Club Challenge #3 - Angels or Fairies

Hi Crafters,

Today is a new challenge at our fun Christmas Card Club where we try and make Christmas cards all year round in order to alleviate some of the last minute panic nearer to Christmas.
Well today it was GranMargaret's turn to choose a theme and so we have ...

ANGELS or FAIRIES

This proved rather tricky for me as I don't seem to have any dies that fit the bill or many images either and although we can opt for the Anything Goes option this year I wanted to try and follow the theme.
I then found a Mo Manning digital image of this cute little angel called Rafe that I had in a file which I'd never coloured up before and so here he is...twice!
I flipped the image in my design program and made it a little smaller for perspective.

Recipe
Image - Rafe - Mo's Digital Pencil
Coloured with Promarkers
Paper - Craft Sensations 'Traditional Christmas'
Tattered Lace Pearl Rectangle Die
Craft Essentials Sentiment Die
Embossed Holly Berry Card stock
Wink of Stella pen on their wings

Challenges I'd like to enter:
I Love Promarkers - #351 Embossing
Fab n Funky - #379 Christmas
Cute Card Thursday - #515 ATG
CHNC Every Saturday - #371 ATG / Quick & Easy
Crafty Calendar Challenge - 2 or More Layers

I hope you are all keeping well so far this year, there have been so many bugs around and I'm afraid I seem to have caught a couple of them recently so that is why I haven't been around much. Hopefully I am on the mend now and robust enough to fight anything else off, I'm quite fed up with feeling run down now.

Well I will be back with my Passion For Promarkers card on Tuesday so I will try and visit you all before then.

Take care,

Lorraine
xXx

  14. Sorry to hear you've been unwell, but certainly hope you're on the mend now, and don't catch anything else. So much of this virus & bug stuff is about everywhere. These little Rafe angels always make me smile...they look like they have just been up to mischief to me. Brilliant coloring on the ornaments too...great shading with the higlights that gleam. Love the way you've creating the beautiful framing on each layer, which really compliments the colors of the ornaments. Well done on meeting this challenge! TFS & Hugs

What a clever person you are to flip the other one and make it smaller.
I just wouldn't know where to start on that one.
Sorry to hear you have caught the horrid bugs going around.
I am still coughing and into my 8th week, but have heard it takes for ever to go away.
Last night I was up every hour with my drey tickly cough.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
