Christmas Card Club Challenge #1 - Gnomes, Pixies or Elves

Hi Crafters,

Well the first week of the new year is underway and we are back in the swing of our fortnightly challenge at our friendly Christmas Card Club. This first challenge has been set by Margaret our leader and she would like to see...

Gnomes, Pixies or Elves

Now this year I am determined to make multiple cards for each theme - we'll see how that pans out in the coming months :) -  in an attempt to create an even larger stash of Christmas cards come the end of the year as I found that I still didn't have enough made by Christmas last year :/
So, here are my offerings....

Recipe
Image - Hobby House Topper
Paper - Berry Merry Pad by Jennifer Ellory
Winter Fun Border Die - Precious Marieke
Sentiment Label - Upcycled Christmas card
Ribbons from Stash
Glitter embossing powder

Challenge I'd like to enter:
CHNC Every Saturday - #367 ATG + Upcycle or use something old
(Sentiment label is from an old Christmas card.

~~~
Then I took myself out of my comfort zone and made a very CAS card...
  11. Both are fab. Love the colorful and cuteness of #1 - and although you've got some nice layers, it's not too much...just right! That's a darling image. Great work on your CAS too, as the white embossed background shows off that adorable elf peeking out of his stocking! Well done! TFS & Hugs. Happy New Year as well.
  16. These are both lovely, I think the CAS one is gorgeous with the embossed background.
    It's a great idea to do extras when you make your cards, it's thinking up the design and layout that takes most of the time so I might just try that!
