This was a quick and simple card but I hope you'll agree, quite bold and effective.
It is a little smaller than I would normally make being only A6 in size.

ReplyDeleteHi Rainey, yes the dies are from E-Bay. I just put 'cutting dies from China' in the search bar, and you will see loads. I've bought quite a few now, often for literally pennies, and they have all cut with no difficulty. Actually, thats not strictly true, I bought one 6" square Snowflake background die that I've had to shim a lot to get the middle to cut, BUT, it's a large intricate die, and I've had to shim much more expensive intricate dies in the past. I think it actually says more about uneven pressure from the machine than the die, to be honest, as I always find the centre of my BS Pro cuts less well than the outer edges.

ReplyDeleteNow that is a fab Christmas card design because it may have been quick and simple to make but it looks sooooo effective and luxurious because of the little details like the Glossy Accents, sparkly edge to the sentiment and the sweet ribbon. That sentiment is lovely too...that's what Christmas is all about I think :-)
