As You Like It Challenge #87 - Favourite Shaped or Standard Card and WHY

Hi Crafters,

These weeks are flying by so fast that I can hardly believe it's time for a new challenge at As You Like It.

We'd like you to showcase a project using your Favourite Shaped or Standard cardbase and tell us the reason WHY.

My choice was an easy one as I always go for a square card base, whatever the size, as I find that everything just fits in the space beautifully.

Recipe
7" x 7" Card Base
Image - Crafters Companion Crisalis Classics CD - Rom (Christine Haworth)
Spellbinders Oval Floral Die
Lea'bilities Corner Die
Papers - Hunkydory
Sentiment Stamp - LOTV

  7. Lorraine I have to agree I do love a square card too, my next favourite being a C6 size either landscape or portrait but with the fold on the smaller side.

A lovely wedding card, the image of the bride is lovely and framed just perfectly in the oval die. Great colour scheme too.

  22. The symmetry of this design really appeals to me and and the pretty die cuts you have used give it such elegance :-)
I know what you mean about square cards; I love shaped bases but there isn't always enough space to add everything or to use a large image.
    Big hugs, Kat xx
