Why not join in the fun at 613 Avenue Create this week?
Our challenge is always a nice and easy Anything Goes one with an optional twist this week of using a Colour Grid.
We have a prize of 3 digital images for the winner from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments.
I have used this image called Mia for my card.
Recipe
Image - Mia ~ Crafty Sentiments
Medium - Pro/flexmarkers
Clothing - Paper Pieced
Papers - Unknown and various, (bought in a batch from Ebay)
Spellbinders Floral Oval Die & Scalloped Border
Creative Expressions Petite Peony Cluster Die
Sentiment Tag - Lili of the Valley
Pearls
Instead of colouring all of this sweet image with my Promarkers I decided to paper piece her jacket and leggings and add shading with my markers. I like how this turned out and am very pleased with the card over all. It's colour combo is a little unusual for me but I think it works.
Challenges I'd like to enter:
Addicted To Stamps - #120 Die Cuts
I Love Promarkers - #302 Bingo (Ribbon, Sentiment, Flower)
Creative Inspirations - #345 ATG / Sketch
Cute Card Thursday - #413 Warm Colours
Aud Sentiments - #149 Cute + Sentiment
Brown Sugar - #186 ATG
Creative Fingers - #103 ATG
Crafty Friends - #25 Girly
Allsorts Challenge - #351 Birthday Wishes
Crafty Girlz - #12 ATG
Craft-Dee Bowz - Feb. ATG + Bow

What an adorable image! I love her and the way you colored her is magnificent! The little polka dot bow is perfect as an embellishment and doesn't detract from this cute image! Beautiful card! Thanks for joining us at Craft-Dee BowZ for our February challenge! Hugs, Gail
ReplyDeleteYou need to come teach me to colour my images so beautifully Lorraine - your colouring of this sweet cutie pie's hair and skin is awesome huni! The paper piecing is spot on and the whole card is fabulous and then some! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment on my Tim tag - I really did enjoy it so much and it obviously shows lol!
ReplyDeleteI step down from one of the two Design teams I was on last year because I could not craft as much as I wanted to. When I was having 'bad back days' I couldn't do anything. So I spent my 'good times' visiting and commenting and not crafting - I am thankful that I realised it then. Sadly I can't visit anyone much right now because of the blasted back.
Have a good week hun and try to do something you love Karen xx
