As You Like It Challenge # 64 Monochrome Or Colour and WHY

Hi Crafters,

I'm back today to share my DT card for the new challenge at As You Like It. This time we are asking whether you prefer 'monochrome' or 'colour' and to add an explanation as to why you do.

My favourite is definitely 'Colour'. I love bright, rich and vibrant colours because they make me happy :-)

There are some really beautiful scenes on this CD-Rom and I have made quite a few cards using them. I love the colours in this scene, if only my garden looked like this in the summer.

CD Sunday 6th Birthday Celebration

**I chose this card for the Birthday celebration challenge because it made Top 3 at the time, I was so excited about it as it was the first time I had entered.**

  3. This is absolutely gorgeous! I think that CD is going to have to go on my shopping list. I've often hear of Thomas Kincade called "the painter of light" and you've really brought the lighting of this image to life with the way you've used it

  12. Lorraine, this is beautiful. I am always entranced by Thomas Kincaide, (the details and light quality are just stunning). What I love about your card is the way you have picked colours from the image and used them in your design - putting everything together so beautifully. It looks gorgeous and so striking.
