As You Like It Challenge #63 Sweet or Savoury and Why.

Hi Crafters,

Well it's almost the weekend and we are supposed to be getting some nice weather in this neck of the woods so I'm looking forward to that.

I have a DT card to share today for As You Like It, our challenge this time is to showcase a project using your favourite Sweet or Savoury (& WHY).
My favourite would have to be sweet but not necessarily cake as I have shown here on my card but chocolate. I am rather partial to a bar of chocolate, especially Galaxy. I like the smooth, rich silky texture as it melts in your mouth ( did I sound like the advert there? ) and the taste of course.
Anyway here is my sweet little card using one of my many Hobby House toppers that I won recently.

Recipe
Topper - The Hobby House - 'It's a Girl'
Cheery Lynn - FRM135 Frame Die
Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circle Die
MFT Scallop Border from Blueprint 14 Set
Gingham Ribbon
Paper - LOTV Bonnets & Bow Ties

I decided to make a circular card for a change as I have gotten stuck in a rut of making square cards recently and I really like the way it turned out. I decorated the inside with matching paper and stamped a Stampin' Up 'Happy Birthday' sentiment.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
In The Pink - #78 For a Friend +PINK
Noor Design Challenge - #10 Shaped Cards
Craft-Dee Bowz - ATG + A Bow
TTCRD - ATG
Creative Inspirations - #328 Something Sweet

We have another wonderful sponsor this week at AYLI -
My Mum's Craft Shop

...so to be in with a chance of winning the fabulous prize you must tell us in your post WHY you like either 'Sweet or Savoury' and follow the theme of course.

Well that's all from me, I will endeavour to get round to your blogs today but it is my stall at the Farmers Market tomorrow - where did that month go? - and I am finishing some last minute things so apologies if I don't quite make all of you.

See you soon,

Lorraine
