Hi Crafters,
It's my Brother-in-Laws birthday today and this is the card that I made for him.
Recipe
Image - An old image stored on my computer
Medium - Pro/flexmarkers
Paper - Paper Cellar 'Checks' Pad
MFT Stitched Squares Die
Marianne Designs Mobile Phone Die and Sentiment Stamp Set
Clearly Besotted 'My Hero' Stamp and Die Set
Grosgrain Ribbon
Enamel Dots
His job was office based a while ago but he does something completely different now so I thought I would remind him of this earlier career with this quirky image that I have had on my computer for years. I've coloured it with my Promarkers and used a Marianne D. mobile phone die too. The 'Brother' sentiment was stamped and heat embossed before cutting out with the matching die which cuts perfectly accurately. My next purchase is the corresponding female set I think as I really love these.

Not a very good start to the day here, it's raining! In fact it hasn't stopped since yesterday and looks set to be the same for most of the week :P
I really don't like the rain, thank goodness I haven't got much planned that requires going out this week. Hope the weather is better where you are and enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing.

Lorraine, now it doesn't happen too often but it's sunny here just now. I hope the rain eases.

ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card Lorraine, love that phone, it looks so real!! Gladly switch some weather with you. It has been so hot and humid here the last couple of weeks, I would love a couple damp dark rainy days just to get some relief! The grass is always greener, isn't it! ha! hugs :)
