Hi Crafters,
Well I've just returned from a weeks holiday on the East Norfolk Coast and I'm relaxed and rested, it was a brilliant time away with family.
So I'm back to regular blogging now and I'm starting off with the Christmas Card Club Challenge which this week was chosen by Karen. We were to use Pink and White only, with black, silver or gold accents and this is what I came up with...
Recipe
Sentiment Stamp - Christmas Peace Wooden Stamp embossed in silver
Frame - Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles
Border - Marianne Craftables Die CR1273
Snowflakes - Marianne Creatables LR0123
Embossed Holly Berries Card - Limetree Crafts
Ribbon, Brad and Glitter from stash
Challenges I'd like to enter:

Crafty Creations - #291 Embossing
Creative Fingers - #84 ATG
CHNC Every Saturday - #234 Merry and Bright

As usual you can check out the other ladies blogs on the team for some more Christmas inspiration by following the links on my CCC tab above.
It's lovely to be back again, I have missed you all - there was intermittent internet access where I was staying and I think I started to get withdrawal symptoms, lol. We don't realise how much we all come to rely on things until they are not there.
Well that's it from me today, I will be round for a catch up later.
Lorraine

Happy to hear you had a fun & hopefully relaxing holiday. Absolutely love the elegance of this pretty card. That lush rectangle is one of my fav S/B. Very beautiful interpretation on Karen's pink & white challenge. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteLorraine, I hope to get a parcel to you by the end of the week I didn't want to sent it whilst you were away. I hope you had a lovely holiday?
ReplyDeleteA super Christmas card, loving the pink, silver and white for the snowflakes. I would usually use blue but think the pink works great.
Happy crafting, hugs Erika. x
I had a week away too and yes, I missed everyone in blogland too! I did have WiFi where we were staying but didn't want to spend too much time online as it would have been a bit unfair to Dr. Hubby!
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm having a little catch up now and it's fun scrolling back through the previous week's cards to see what everyone has been up to!
Your blog didn't disappoint with lots of gorgeous creations for me to admire; the lovely colours and textures you use always look fabulous :-)
