Hi Crafters,
There's a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create and as usual you can choose 'anything goes' or the twist theme of 'use subway art'. I'm using the 'Pretty Sunshine' image from our sponsor SLS Lines Digital Stamps and I chose to go with the subway art theme and make a wall hanging...
The image was coloured with my Pro/flexmarkers and layered on to a pennant banner that I made picking out the colours from the subway art. I embossed the pink layer with a sunburst embossing folder but that doesn't seem to be showing up very well here. :/

My subway art was found on the internet but you could try making your own with stamps or making a collage with word cuttings from a magazine perhaps.

ReplyDeleteOh that is gorgeous, I LOVE it!!! What a fun decoration this would make in my craft room, you're giving me great ideas :) I can just barely detect the embossing on the pink layer, but I'd bet it's gorgeous. Loving that sun!!
