Christening Cards

Hi Crafters,
It's such a lovely day here today, not meant to last the week but I will make the most of it while it's here. I have been busy washing and pottering in the garden this morning but now it's crafty time. Before I get stuck in to some orders -and I do hope Mr Mojo is coming to play today - I have a couple of Christening cards to share with you ...
... two completely different styles but cute none-the-less I think.

This first one uses an array of Spellbinders dies layered up in blue and white cardstock with a little bit of Distress inking through the dies for added interest. The cross however is a Cottage Cutz die. A computer generated sentiment cut out with another SB die, grosgrain ribbon and plenty of gems.

This second card was created using images and papers from the Forever Friends New Arrival CD-Rom, together with some more grosgrain ribbon an LOTV sentiment stamp which I heat embossed, an MFT border die and more gems.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Papertake Weekly - Cute As A Button
Crafty Creations - #287 Seeing Spots
Crafty Girlz Challenge - #1 ATG/April Showers
Scribble & Scrap - #43 ATG

Later in the week I will share with you the album I made as a memory book of the Christening day for the family.

See you soon,

Lorraine

  1. Nice and sunny here as well Lorraine, but a tad chilly when you go outside.

Two great cards, especially taken with the first one.
