Hi Crafters,
***If you are looking for my Christmas Card Club entry please scroll down to the previous post, thanks.***
Two weeks have rolled by again and I am here with my DT inspiration for the challenge at 613 Avenue Create.
I chose to create a picture in a frame.
Recipe
5" x 7" Picture Frame
Image - Cupcakes & Candy Factory - Inky Impresssions
Promarkers
Sentiment Stamp - LOTV
Go Kreate large Oval Die
Embellishments from the grid
I printed this lovely image three times then cut out and paper pieced it for dimension after colouring with my Promarkers. I added glossy accents to the cherry and sweets and glitter to the swirling smoke from the chimney. I decided to die cut the image with a large Go Kreate Oval die and use the solid colour paper as the background in the frame. Although this is a 3d project it will fit in the frame with the glass to keep it clean but for photo taking purposes I have left the glass out.

...and a side view to show the layers...
Our challenge this time was to use this grid for the elements of our project .
I have circled the elements that I used, I'm sure this will give you all some ideas so you can play along with us.

Sweet image and love the way you've made so much dimension using the many levels of layers. It made a fantastic project in this pretty frame. I especially loved all the bright colors of the candy house, and that swirl of glittering smoke coming from the chimney. So much imagination going on here. TFS
ReplyDeleteI think I must be having a senior moment, I could have sworn I commented on this one...think it must have been on FB instead. Anyway it's totally and utterly AWESOME! :) xx
