Christmas Card Club Challenge #24 - Deer

 Hi Crafters,

I'm a little late to the party today but it's our friendly Christmas Card Clubs penultimate challenge of 2022 and Rachel has chosen the theme this time of

DEER

I have used various dies and vignettes from the Carnation Crafts Christmas Collections to create this card, it's quite chunky so definitely one to be given by hand and not posted.

The other ladies in the team have created some gorgeous cards too, to see their makes just go to the CCC tab in my sidebar where you will find the links to their blogs.

I had really good sales at the two craft fairs I attended recently, now I have to make some more Christmas cards for next Saturdays event, so I will pop in to your blogs in between card making sessions :o)

Allsorts Challenge #704 - Wings and or Tails

 Hi Crafters,

We have a fun challenge for you this week at Allsorts - we want to see your creations including 

WINGS and or TAILS

I have used an image from Ruth Hamilton Designs called Robin and Birdhouse which I have coloured using Promarkers and Polychromo Pencils.

I used a lovely sheet of designer paper from a Woodland Winter paper pad by Studio Light, two Lea'bilities Fir Tree Dies and a decorative edged circle die. A little glitter was added to the snowy elements in the image.

GDT at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #659 - Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

I was lucky enough to win at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge a few weeks ago and was asked to join in as a Guest Designer for challenge #659, thank you Jo. 

Their theme this time is CHRISTMAS

I have used this cute digital stamp from one of their sponsors StarStampz, called Polar Bear Pup and coloured it with Promarkers and Polychromo Pencils.

The background paper is from 'Snowy Daze' paper pad from The Works and I have used Carnation Crafts 'Pretty Shabby Circle and Square Dies for my edges and a Marianne Designs Icicle Die. The sentiment is an LOTV stamp - 'Set 75 Christmas Wishes' which I hand cut in a banner shape. I have also added some Crystal Aurora glitter to the little girls fur trim on her coat which sparkles beautifully in real life.

Passion For Markers Challenge #668 - Traditional Christmas Colours

Today sees a new challenge at Passion For Markers and this week it's all about TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLOURS

I have used one of our Sponsors images called 'Noel Tannenbaum' from Colour of Love which has been coloured with Promarkers.

The background paper is from a Christmas paper pad called Santa Claus is Coming To Town from The Works and I have added an LOTV stamped sentiment from 'Set 75 Christmas Wishes'. The filigree gold corner is a Spellbinders Die.

Christmas Card Club Challenge #23 - Christmas Crackers

 Hi Crafters,

We are back again this week with our Christmas Card Club Challenge. With 6 weeks to go until the Big Day I'm still a little worried about whether I have enough Christmas cards made, I have 5 craft fairs between now and then and there just doesn't seem enough hours in the day to get everything done!

However this week Rita asked us to make cards with a Christmas Cracker theme which gave me the opportunity to use my Carnation Crafts Christmas Treats Die and vignettes.

I have teamed it with a pretty paper from a Sara Davis signature collection pad called Winter Wonderland and a Crafts-Too Presscut Sentiment Die.

Allsorts Challenge #701 - Sparkle & Shine

 Hi Crafters,

Now for something a little bit different, a break away from my card making to a Shadow Box for the new challenge at Allsorts.

I've had these 6 inch shadow boxes from The Range for quite some time so thought I had better create something with them. I have used an older die from a collaboration between Lavinia Stamps and Imagination Crafts called Celtic Dreams Dies and this one is called 'Hidden Secrets'. I love these quirky fairy houses, they have been cut in black card and sprayed with Shimmer Spray.

The Toadstools are a Lea'bilities Die and the Fairy is from Crafters Companion I believe, all cut from glitter card. Then I decided to add some scrabble tiles as they fitted nicely in the thickness of the frame.

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge - Anything Goes

 Hi Crafters,

I hope you've had a great weekend and feel rested after the extra hour in bed from the clocks going back :o) I could do with a few more of those extra hours myself how about you?

Well it's the 1st of November! How did we get here already but that means a new challenge at Crafts Galore Encore and this month our theme is Anything Goes.

I have made some spooky ATC's using a Chocolate Baroque stamp set called Witch's Brew and some creative use of muslin for the ghosts.
