Passion For Markers Challenge #656 - Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

Today marks the start of a new challenge week at Passion For Markers where we would love to see your CHRISTMAS creations alongside using your Markers.

The DT were given some sweet images from our sponsor this week Lili of the Valley Stamps and I used 'Robin Cracker' for my card.

Coloured with Promarkers and using freebie papers from a magazine this card came together very quickly, I love it when that happens - often I sit at my desk and Mr Mojo just laughs and walks off.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
CHNC Every Saturday - #609 ATG Christmas
Colour Crazy Challenge - #34 ATG Colouring Challenge
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - #139 Sentiment as Main Focus

Please take a look at the other lovely makes from the DT HERE.

To be eligible for the prize of 4 Digital Images from LOTV
you must use your Markers on your project and follow the theme.

See you soon,
Lorraine

Christmas Card Club Challenge #17 - Blue Christmas

 Hi Crafters,

I'm back again today with my Christmas Card Club creation.

GranMargaret has asked us for BLUE CHRISTMAS and this is what I made following the theme.

This lovely vignette and die set are from Carnation Crafts, I seem to be using them a lot lately :o) I die cut a few of them and layered up the image so it is 3D.

The backing paper is also one of theirs but the picot edge die is from Tattered lace. The blue pearls have been in my stash for ages and matched beautifully.

Challenges I'd like to enter:

to be added

How is your Christmas Card making coming along?

I had quite a few and felt in a good place but then last week at the craft fair I attended I sold a substantial number of them so I'm back to making as many as I can again to boost the pile.

See you soon,

Lorraine

Passion For Markers Challenge #654 - Things with Wings

 Hi Crafters,

It's been a busy time for me and I'm sorry I haven't visited your blogs recently but hopefully you will understand. I really miss using Bloglovin too, it was my go-to for seeing your blog posts all in one place and although I switched over to Feedly when Bloglovin started having some issues, I don't seem to get on as well with that site. Often the posts are delayed and show up in the feed the next day. I have tried using my reading list on Blogger but not all of your blogs are there. If any of you have any better suggestions please let me know in the comments.

I digress, I'm actually here to share my latest DT inspiration for the new challenge at Passion For Markers which starts today. We have a fab prize from Colour of Love of 3 digi images so why not come and join us with our THINGS WITH WINGS challenge this week?

I am using one of my favourite digi stamps from Bugaboo Stamps ( I still can't get over the fact that they are no longer trading as I loved their quirky images) I have loads of them so you will be seeing many more in upcoming posts. :o)

Coloured with Promarkers this fun 'Penguin Joy' image really makes me smile. I've used some silver glitter card to cut out the star frame and the background paper is a digital download from Crafters Companion.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Make My Monday - #181 Christmas in August
Colour Crazy Challenge - #32 ATG Colouring Challenge
Creative Inspirations - August ATG
Crafty Calendar - August ATG

Take a look at the other ladies creations here, they are fabulous - very inspirational and perfect to get your creative juices going so that you can join in with us.
Looking forward to seeing what you make.

Bye for now,
Lorraine

Christmas Card Club Challenge #16 - Christmas Roses

 Hi Crafters,

I am at a Craft Fair today so this is a scheduled post but I will be round to comment on your blogs later. I don't usually do craft fairs as I have very little time between the two Farmers Market/Craft events that I organise and my commissioned cards but this is an annual Charity event by the Lions Club and I like to support them. It was booked before the pandemic in early 2020 and after being rolled forward several times this is the first year it has been able to go ahead. The weather is set to be good for all the outdoor activities so I'm sure it will be a good day.

Anyway, I am here to share my card for the Christmas Card Club and this week was Valery's turn to choose a theme and so we have...

CHRISTMAS ROSES

Dies and downloaded Papers are all from Carnation Crafts, the roses are last years collection and naughty girl that I am, I treated myself to one of this years sets which has this cute little boy holding his lantern and the filigree frames in the set are gorgeous too.

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Crafty Gals Corner - #233 Christmas in July

If you'd like to join in with us each fortnight we are a friendly bunch, Rachel organises the challenges and it helps to get ahead with the mountain of Christmas cards needed for December.

Well that's all from me, see you soon,

Lorraine

Allsorts Challenge #688/9 - ATG opt. Create Your Own Background

 Hi Crafters,

Saturdays certainly come around quickly! It's time for me to share my Design Team creation for the new challenge at Allsorts where it is an easy Anything Goes theme but as an option I have asked you to CREATE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND.

We are spread over two weeks this time so there's plenty of opportunity to join in.

I love to create ATC's and so I have made these...

For my background I 'Smooshed' - technical word :o) - some different shades of green Distress Oxides on to my non-stick mat and dabbed my card on to it, when this was dry I stamped the script randomly. Then I added the texture paste using a stencil. I die cut the flowers, hessian and file tab from other 'smooshed' backgrounds that I had made and added them using staples - this is the first time I've attached elements using a staple and I quite like how it looks. Lastly I doodled a black border and added the pearls to the flower centres.

Challenges I'd like to enter:

Creative Artiste Challenge - #85 ATG Mixed Media

If you'd like to join in with us this week there is a fab prize of a £15 store Voucher for WOWVOW for the lucky winner.

Thank you for visiting today, the Design Team have been busy creating a lovely selection to inspire you - you can see them HERE.
