Hi Crafters!
I treated myself to the new CD Rom from Crafters Companion - Angelica and Adam the other day and so I thought I would have a play with it. Not only does it have coloured images and scenes to print out but line drawings for you to colour so this is Adam kicking a football.

Twine &Trim - Blog Candy won from Wishcraft
Meiflower - Football Brad

I enjoyed colouring this cute image so maybe you will see a few more of these adorable characters here in the future. I have quite a few commissions to get done first but then maybe I can start making some cards and projects just for me, hopefully :)
Thanks for stopping by and commenting I really do love reading them and I appreciate them all. It's nice to know that there are others out there in blogland who are interested in what I do and I get lots of inspiration from you guys so...
...see you soon,

Voyage Across The Oceans

Evening Crafters ! Today I have a male card to share with you, rather simple but effective I think. As I've mentioned before I struggle with male cards, there are fewer embellishments that are suitable and that seems to throw me coz I want to add flowers and ribbon and bling to fill up the spaces, lol.
Anyhow here it is:

I decided to use the resources in the 'My Craft Studio' program to help me out with the subject. I found a small image of the ship and enlarged it to fit my card and then a line drawing of an old map which I coloured with my promarkers, I coloured the sails on the ship, printed out an image of an anchor and then glossy accented it. The sentiment is from a Waltzingmouse stamp set. A few mats and layers, cut my banner and voila.
I'll be back tomorrow to show you a football card for a little boy so see you then,

Enjoy your evening,
Lorraine

Get Well Soon

Hi Crafters hope you are enjoying a bright sunny day where ever you are. It's chilly here but sunny which makes us all feel happier I think.
Today I have made a Get Well card for a friend who had a knee operation yesterday and is spending a few days in hospital.

I don't quite know what this card fold is called but I've seen a few on Pinterest and You tube and all have different names. Box fold card is one so maybe you could search for that but here is the tutorial I followed - Building Block Card.
I used some cream and pink cardstock with my SU weave embossing folder, the letters are a Spellbinder Alphabet die, Beaded Ovals die and the swirls are a Magnolia die. The flower came from my stash and is material not paper and so did the metal flower brad. Both have been hoarded for some time. lol. :)
Here are a couple more views:

I added a place at the back for the message...

LOTV - Getting Ready

Hi Crafters,
I've seen a few people using the 'no line' stamping technique and thought I would like to try it. Well I'm not doing it again though....first I chose a light ink and stamped my image - Getting Ready - by LOTV....then I began colouring with my Promarkers....but, and I know this was the whole point, but I couldn't see the lines and was having a real problem knowing where one section started and another finished. So in the end I had to use my Copic Multi-liner pen and draw the outline of the stamped image over the top, hence the rather wobbly impression of what should be a lovely clean stamp. Never mind, nothing ventured, nothing gained at least I've learnt that technique is not for me, lol.
I thought I would share it with you anyway...

All Tuckered Out

Hi Crafters
I just thought I'd share a few of the commissioned cards that I have been making this month...they are all very different as each one has to fit the remit of the customer of course. I haven't made anything since Monday and as the title suggests, after completing 28 cards by the 17th of this month I'm...'all tuckered out'. Lol.

Hi Crafty friends, here is the other card I made for my daughters' birthday.

Saturated Canary - Jules

Hi Crafters,
I'm back - better late than never. I said I would share my card that I made for my daughters' birthday and here it is...

I must say this was the most involved card I have ever attempted and it took me 3 days to finish it, but I was really pleased with the way it turned out. The image is 'Jules' a Saturated Canary digi from Krista Smith and I loved colouring her with my Promarkers. I admit I did use a card created by Maddy Hill of Madimaginations, the link to her post is Here , to help me with the colours and shading of the dress but the rest of the layout is my own.
8 x 8 Cream card blank
'Jules' image - Saturated Canary
Design Papers - My Michelle, Quick Quotes Papers
- Family Matters, Teresa Collins
- Picadilly, Basic Grey
Lace and pearls - Wild Orchid Crafts
Flowers and stamens - The Ribbon Girl
Love Mini Tickets - Whimsy Stamps
Swirl and leaf die - Magnolia Doohickey
Corner die - Cheery Lynn
Lattice die - Marianne Designs with Spellbinders Grand labels 4 over the top.
Brads from my stash

Christmas Card Club - Snowflakes/All White.

Hi, ....Sunday already, time goes too fast.
It's been a fortnight since the last challenge at the Christmas Card Club and so the new theme is...
Snowflakes / All White

Here's my card...
If you've been following my blog recently you will know that it has been mega busy for me lately and so I'm afraid this was rather a quick and simple card but quite pretty. I'm not very happy with the lighting in this photo but it's been so dreary and dull that nothing I do seems to make it any better, sorry. The snowflakes are die cut from a Cheery Lynn die, which, by the way, I think is awesome - it cuts 20 different snowflakes with one pass through the machine. The tree is a Marianne Designs die and the embossing was done with a Cuttlebug folder.
I hope you get a chance to visit the other Club members blogs - links to their blogs are in the CCC tab at the top of the page - There will be some beautiful creations for sure.

I also hope you can pop back later as I will be posting another card, one I couldn't share before as it was for my eldest daughter's birthday, but as today is the day and she will have already seen it I'm safe to put it on my blog. It's her 25th birthday, boy that makes me feel old, and we will be having a family celebration in a few days which I am looking forward to.

Thanks for joining me today, and see you a bit later,

Lorraine

Flying High

Happy Valentine's Day ! Everyone.

Hi, hope you are all feeling some luurve today xxx. I have a birthday card though to share with you that I finished a couple of days ago.

Using my graphics programme ' My Craft Studio' I put together this male birthday card. A bit of fussy cutting and layering, a sentiment stamp and an aeroplane charm later - there was my card. I had to make it a quick one because so far this month I have made 20 cards for orders and I still have another 5 to get finished by the 20th February, phew :) I really love making them but it's been pretty hectic getting them all done.
I'm entering this in to these challenges:
A Creative Romance - Let's Get Sentimental
Scribble & Scrap - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes

Enjoy your time with loved ones,
See you later,

Princess And The Frog

Hi, Happy Thursday,
Another quick share today with a card, a very PINK card for somebody who likes Fairy Tales and lots of bling.
I used lots of different pink card and DP, a Doohickey border die, Marianne Designs square lattice die and coloured the digi with my Promarkers. I also put two types of ribbon, one behind the other, through a ribbon buckle and added lots of diamante sparkles.
I'm entering it in to this challenge:
In The Pink - A Little Pink Love
Happy Crafting,
See you all soon,

Pinterest Inspired

Hi Crafters,
Just a quick share with you today. It's been mega busy round here lately and I haven't had time to blog unfortunately. I have been franticly making cards but some I can not share just yet because they are for family birthdays and I don't want to show the recipient their card before the day, lol.
So here is a quickie share:

This was a commissioned card for an I.T. specialist for Valentine's Day and I got my inspiration from Pinterest. The writing is computer generated but the hearts are stamped. I'm safe showing it coz' I know they don't look at my blog. :p  ha, ha.
I'm entering this in to some challenges:
A Creative Romance - Show us some love
Papertake Weekly - With A Heart

Will be back soon hopefully,
